What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for working with high growth businesses is the reason, I set up my own business and I look forward to working with you on your journey to building a great company.
Why should our clients choose you?
Graham McNicholl - Director
Graham trained as an accountant with Mazars LLP in London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having worked for over 15 years in practice and industry. He has extensive international finance experience, spending 5 years in Sydney, Australia working for EY in their audit practice, where clients included multi-national listed corporations such as Google and a number of high net worth family offices.
It was in Australia that Graham developed a passion for working with high growth start-ups and ambitious owner-managed businesses, as well as a desire to improve his skillset as an accountant and business partnership ability.
Upon returning to the UK, Graham took a role in a growing renewable energy business as Group Financial Controller; a steep learning curve that involved the integration of four new businesses in 18 months and revenue growth from £5m-£40m. His subsequent industry roles have included Financial Controller for a £500m Agri-Retail business (overhauling the financial modelling and cash flow management of the business) and Chief Financial Officer for an online retail business, where he led the raising of over £2m in equity funding in 3 years and saw revenue growth of over 90% year on year.
Graham set up Bronte Accounting Services in 2018. His clients include online retail businesses, construction companies, SaaS companies and fitness and subscription start ups. He is fluent in French and speaks conversational German.
