it's really lovely here and the view of the harbour couldn't be better. The staff were so friendly and helpful even when they were super busy, and we were offered a bowl of water for our dog straight away without needing to ask. We will be back!

Heard great things about the Sunday lunch, booked for Sunday lunch-now laying down!! It was pretty epic! Jem and the team made us super welcome on a busy service! -we each had a complimentary drink as we were celebrating our anniversary and went on to order the triple meat for 2, with fab sides of pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese! Much to our hungry delight, a board arrived shortly after absolutely rammed with 3 big ol’ Chunks of meat-delicious, moist and as tender as you like! Beef, pork and lamb-I couldn’t have chosen a favourite from them! On the board was also a shed load of roasties, a big old Yorkshire pud and assorted an roasted veg-all delicious and with a bit of a sense of occasion!! We stuffed it, being beaten by only 1 solitary roast potato.....we couldn’t!! Bloody fantastic, as good as any roast I’ve eaten anywhere AND the staff were fab ..... Right, I need to lie down fir a bit!......the wife’s asleep!! More...

Perfect sun-trap with beautiful views of the SS Great Britain. Chilled out vibe, worth the short stroll from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Friendly service, nothing is too much trouble. Don't be fooled by the perfect setting of the bar terrace. As lovely as it is the real Jewel in the crown here is the new Chef Andy. I've been eating out in Bristol all my life and this may well be my new favourite eat. It's a lovely place, although we wanted to take our drink to the water's edge like the people before us and the people directly after us but, for some reason we weren't allowed. You can smell fresh fish fried on The Fresh Oil from outside, and that's what invite you there straight away promising a bite of lovely snack.
Inside you'll find tasty Ale, classy Cider, Japanese Lager and lovely chill-out music.
Plus people working there offer friendly and efficient service so what else would you need !? :) More...

What a gem, one of Bristol's must go places for drinks or food I tried the Japanese lager and it may well have been the best lager I've ever drunk a lovely place to sit out in the sun and watch people walking around, I'm coming back for a Sunday dinner.

Found this little gem of a place by accident after walking along the river. Had a really lovely meal here with my husband. We both had a starter, main course and drinks and the total was less than £60. The lamb curry was delicious.
The service was a little slow but it was a Saturday night and fully booked. I’d recommend booking a table if you visit we will definitely be going back. More...
