Britannia School of Academics is a UK based training provider, focusing on delivering courses to education professionals. As educators ourselves, we found that often training providers lack the flexibility that suits most educators when it comes to undertaking courses. Either there is a schedule, a lack of self-study materials, or tutors have less knowledge about the course topics than you do…
These frustrations led to the launch of BSA- an online training provider of education and training courses, with completely flexible study time, great material, and knowledgeable tutor support- all at a very disruptive price point.
Our staff has a wealth of experience in education and training. We take pride in our quality and aim to provide our learners with the best chance of further employment, through free career guidance and advice.

BSA (Britannia School of Academics) recognises that any of our potential students have many options when it comes to choosing their online learning platform. However, at BSA, we feel that all our courses are competitively priced while also providing excellent student support services.

We are offering qualifications through a Virtual Learning Environment. You don’t need to attend any physical classes. You can study from home at your convenience. However, you will be able to book a 1-2-1 session with your tutor if you need any specific help.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
COVID-19 is a severe issue, and we are treating it as such. Our staff is working from home to ensure they can stay safe while providing learners with the support they need. In addition, we are working round the clock to ensure no interruptions in learners’ progress.
Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, formerly known as Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS), is an industry standard qualification for those teaching in the post-16 sector. This qualification will assist individuals training to become a teacher. This particular Level 5 teaching qualification also allows you to apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status, enabling you to become a teacher in state schools in the UK. Our level 5 DET qualification is accredited by UK OfQual and delivered 100% online. This course will assist your dual professionalism and upgrade your teaching qualification regardless of your subject expertise – whether you teach music or coach people.
Level 4 HLTA Course
The Level 4 Certificate for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) is a UK OFQUAL accredited, 100% online, competency-based Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification. This qualification is designed for learners working in the teaching assistant position who wish to advance to HLTA status. This Level 4 Higher Teaching Assistant course will provide you with training to help you in becoming a teaching assistant with added expertise. Those who already have a Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, or have done the Support Work in Schools course would have an added benefit when undertaking this HLTA training. The aim is to improve learners’ expertise, understanding, and skills to overcome the challenges they face in their workplaces. They will also gain awareness of the skills needed to help individuals and small groups, and support individuals with various additional needs.
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF), also known as the Level 3 CAVA Assessor qualification replaces A1 assessor course and is considered an industry standard qualification for people looking to assess learners for accredited courses. Before the A1 assessor course, if you wanted to train to become an assessor you would complete the D32 and D33 units. The D Units were then replaced by the A1 Assessor Awards. Finally, the A1 qualification was replaced by the current suite of qualifications, which are commonly referred to as TAQA training (Training Assessment and Quality Assurance) Qualification. Most training centres would expect you to have a CAVA assessor qualification before you start assessing qualifications in the FE and HE sectors. You are not required to have any prior qualification or experience to start this Level 3 CAVA course. This NVQ assessor course will assist you regardless of your subject expertise, whether you assess music or train people. The course is accredited by UK OFQUAL, and is delivered 100% online.
Please note that if you do not want to do the complete certificate then the Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment is accepted by most employers, which costs less time and money to complete.
