Gearfest is a really special weekend of the year for me. It started in a field with the 3 Gear brothers 4 years ago and has grown every year, nearly entirely from word of mouth. This means a really intimate festival where everyone knows everyone yet newcomers are made to feel very welcome. The music is of top quality all weekend and very varied, you'll see the best bands and DJs perform and the sound systems are always on point. What makes Gearfest really special is the people. Everyone that attends is linked by no more that 1 degree of separation. Gearfest is a privately spread, promoted almost totally by word of mouth so if you haven't been personally invited by the crew, then you've heard through friends, keeping to the 1 degree incredibly friendly, family vibe . What do you love most about your job?
We love nothing more that seeing our customers happy! We professionally setup all our jobs as part of the hire, so we'll never leave an event without looking absolutely brilliant.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love of lasers and lighting started it all off in around 2012. First a laser and some disco lights, then some speakers, then some bigger speakers! Now we have stock of multiple sound systems, professional lighting & special effect equipment, marquees, decor, ball pit and extensive events management knowledge.
Why should our clients choose you?
What really makes us different is that we set up all the equipment hired, whether at our customers house, a wedding venue, a club, o a festival tent or anywhere else, we will personally install and either operate or teach our customer how to operate the equipment. This service is why we were awarded Party Hire Service of the Year 2020 by the Bristol Prestige Awards!
