Brickwork Mathematics

Brickwork Mathematics offers 1 to1 , paired and group tutoring sessions for children aged 5 to 11. The sessions are led myself, a former primary school teacher with over 15 years experience. I also have a BA Hons in Primary Education and an additional Post Graduate degree in Mathematics Education.

I thoroughly enjoy helping children who find mathematics a challenge and are a little less confident, by using hands on and practical resources to introduce concepts. Then through the use of my own high quality resources, the children are encouraged to apply their understanding.

Strengths of each child are shared regularly with themselves and the parents, through use of child friendly learning grids and weekly parent feedback notes.
