Steer clear of this firm, the solicitor acting for me left the firm and they closed my case without mentioning anything. Im trying to sell my property and for the past 2 weeks my sellers solicitors have been waiting for Brevis to send out the contracts and no one bothered telling me that the contracts weren't going to be sent as my case was closed, so now I need to find another solicitor to try and salvage the sale before I lose my buyer...talk about amateurs or what. I'm not happy at all!!! More...

We have just recently completed a purchase on our first home with Brevis. We can’t thank Sophie and the team enough for all of their help on such a complicated sale.
The online portal was really easy to use and found it really useful to check which stage we were up to in our purchase. Communication was always great whether through phone or email, we always had a quick response and everything was always broken down in a way we would understand.
I would highly recommend Brevis and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again should I ever buy or sell again in the future.

Brevis are a breath of fresh air, in the stuffy world of conveyancing. Having used both “in-person” and online conveyancing solicitors in the past, I have had both positive and negative experiences. What inspired you to start your own business?
Frustrated by the slow and unnecessarily complicated home buying and selling process, father and son team, Gary and Aiken, launched Brevis to streamline and simplify the system, and to bring about positive change for home buyers and sellers like you.
Coming from a solicitors’ firm in the financial industry, they knew they were in a good position to improve the system and help you move home with more confidence.
And so, Brevis was born. Brevis means brief or short in Latin. It neatly sums up how we help you through the conveyancing process. We aim to make the offer to completion (moving in) time as brief as possible, and certainly shorter than the current average.

By taking a client-first approach we’ve ditched industry jargon; if anything is confusing or unclear, we’ll explain it to you. We are committed to working proactively; we don’t sit around waiting for answers, we get going straight away on your property searches. And, we’ll always be completely transparent with you; moving house is a big deal, after all.
Traditional conveyancing tends to be swimming in industry jargon and it can be easy to feel a bit muddled about the whole process.
