I put out an urgent request online for a roofer required to carry out removal of a very large chimney pot that was at risk of falling through our roof.
Neil from Bradstone Roofing responded almost immediately and said he would come and inspect it the next day. Upon inspection he realised the emergency and told me he would come back the next day and remove the chimney. While up on the roof, Neil also inspected some other items of work that I had wanted to do at some point and said that he would be able to do them, no problem and we quickly agreed possible dates.
Neil is very easy to talk to and has a ‘no nonsense’ approach to his work ethic. He didn’t offer unnecessary solutions and if he said he was going to do something, he did it. It was possible for me to discuss all requirements of the work in detail so that I was happy with plans, the price quoted was reasonable and we agreed all items of work that would be carried out and on what dates. Not only that, but Neil was flexible with personal requests such as what time to arrive.
Like I said earlier, Neil did everything as requested and it was done to a high standard, clearly demonstrating his experience. He also tidied up and left everything looking smart.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Neil and Bradstone Roofing and I will be using them again if I need to.

Every job is different which means that no two days are the same. I enjoy meeting new customers and love seeing the end result and happy clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'd been in the construction industry since leaving school and have worked both in the UK and oversees. When I decided to settle back in the UK we went into a recession which caused the companies I'd been subcontracting for to suffer greatly. With a young family to support, we set up our own business and have been working for ourselves ever since.
