What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We provide a full range of accounting and bookkeeping services, covering as little or a much as our clients require. This may range from simply preparing the year-end Statutory Accounts to monthly Management Accounts, budgeting and forecasting. We can either use the data provided by our clients or we can manage all of the day-to-day bookkeeping.

Accounting & Bookkeeping
At Boxwood, we provide a full range of accountancy & bookkeeping services to help our clients manage their businesses & meet their legal obligations. Good quality bookkeeping is extremely important as there are several legal obligations that need to be met e.g. formal Statutory Accounts must be prepared, Vat returns must be correct and tax needs to be minimised. We use cloud based accounting software to make the whole process simple and easy to use.
Statutory Accounts/Year End Accounts
Every company must prepare and file year end accounts as well as a Corporation Tax Return. Preparing Statutory Accounts need not be demanding, time consuming or expensive. However, it is vital that they are correct as errors in this area can result in over payment of tax, penalties and interest.
Boxwood has years of experience in working with successful business owners. The friendly team work on a daily basis with clients, preparing and filing Statutory Accounts with Companies House and HMRC.

Corporation/Personal Tax

VAT

The Boxwood team can advise and guide you on all VAT matters. We can prepare your quarterly return which will significantly reduce the risk of filing errors and the related penalties. Payroll
In the UK, if a business employs someone then they have an obligation to process that person’s salary via PAYE and operate a payroll. The salary must be correctly taxed and is subject to national insurance.
Also, pension payments will typically need to be made on behalf of the employee. There are penalties for failing to do this and for any errors that may occur. Monthly reporting is required via Real Time Reporting to HMRC and the Pensions Regulatory must also be kept happy.
