Returned here again to work our way through the other meats on the menu we hadn't managed!The service was great, really spot on, the waiter was there whenever you needed serving, but without being noticed! Sidd was knowable and polite and smiley; nothing was too much trouble to him.We order starters of fresh prawns and crunchy chicken strips, they were out quickly and the prawns were quality, fresh and tasty and cooked well.My hubster ordered a platter and got to choose 4 meat steaks they come out on a stone and you cook as you like.I had a veggie burger (madness in a steakhouse), but they're sooooo good. Decent amount of melted cheese, freshly cooke veggies for the burger pattie, and crunchy hot fresh onion wings.The chips, ohhhh my, tonight they were like roast potato texture and taste. I wasn't even hungry anymore and I was still just eating them as they tasted so flipping amazing!!All round excellent. Thank you to the team.Shall be back!! More...

4th August - Delicious family meal Sunday evening. Little bit of a wait, but not excessive.Only minor downside was the triple cooked chips not quite cooked through. Service was great though. I went here with the hubster on a Tuesday evening, we did book, but the place wasn't too busy.The waitress was a bit random, and her voice could be heard at every table she was at and it was annoying. The food however was very good. I had the halloumi and pepper skewer and it was really nice, halloumi cooked spot on, and the hubster had ribs and they were tasty and the portion size was good.For mains the hubby had the ostrich which comes out raw and you cook it how you like it off hot stone at the table, he said it was spot on.I had the green bean veggie burger and it was lush and quite different from the normal veggie bean burger you get, with superb onion rings on top!!Would 100% go back, think the hubster will go for zebra next (they do have a full compliment of beef steak choices!).Nicely decorated and have their own parking. Absolutely love this restaurant!!! Had the safari platter was stunning. Kangaroo was my favourite. Woukd highly recommend to anyone. Great selection of food and great prices. Lovely part of Hemel. Sat in window seat was perfect amd very romantic for a first date! Waitor was very attentive. Explained about the hot stone dry clearly and well. Was a very pleasurable experience. Food was fantastic. We booked a table and were shown to our seat straight away, so much choice on the menu the girl had to come back a few times to check if we were ready, but she was extremely pleasant and kind. We were given advice on our food and told what wasn't in and the subsidary food. Service was quick and the food was really good. Wouldn't highly recommend, especially if you want to try new meats! Absolutely delicious food - they offer a 'cook it yourself' option so you can choose exactly how you want your steak done, which is a really great (and extremely fun) feature I've not seen anywhere else. The staff are incredibly friendly and you get the feeling of they can't do enough for you, but they manage to do it in a way that isn't overbearing at all.Couldn't fault the place and would absolutely recommend it to anyone! Bit of a wait but well worth it as food cooked fresh . Food was perfect little disappointed in the hot chocolate not really hot and they ran out but apart from the place looks lovely staff friendly and warm welcoming.
