This VERY talented woman was my right hand when we were planning our 2017 wedding.
She kept me calm when our original wedding venue had a fire, so we needed somewhere else.

We were married last December in Near Sawrey. I contacted Lorraine from Bowness Wedding Photography after receiving a recommendation via Facebook. She rang me immediately and we had a long chat about our requirements, Lorraine was very friendly and relaxed right from the start. We arranged two meetings before the wedding, Lorraine was very thorough, we chatted through all of our ideas and made plans to make sure she captured everything we wanted.
Throughout the whole process Lorraine made us feel very at ease, she was very professional, had lots of previous work we were able to see and lots of ideas we hadn’t considered.
The day went without a hitch, we have some amazing photographs made even more magical by the overnight snowfall that arrived!

From our first meeting with Lorraine at a wedding fayre we instantly connected. She was so helpful throughout the planning stage (always available if we had any questions) & nothing was ever too much trouble. By the time we reached the wedding date she had become like a friend to us. On the day itself she played such an important role with her organisation & ability to put everyone at ease. So many of our guests complimented her professionalism & her friendly, helpful manner. She was constantly there in the background yet never intrusive & managed to make everyone feel special, which was very important. My partner & I got married early March this year. Lorraine was our wedding photographer for our ‘just us’ wedding, due to us travelling from Notts to our lakes wedding venue we were unable to meet her before the day but she kept in close contact with us via email and phone all, she has lots of experience and gave us plenty of suggestions and made us feel at ease and the day went perfectly, we got the perfect balance of photos we wanted and time to ourselves. Outstanding!! We met lorraine at a wedding fair, and i was Instantly drawn to her enthusiasm and experience. Prior to the wedding, Lorraine and i met on a couple of occasions to discuss what picture I would like on the day. Lorraine was very organised and punctual on the day and we got all the picture we wanted. It was hassle free and due to the preparation Lorraine did prior to the wedding, I didnt have to worry about a thing. I married in 2010 and Lorraine was absolutely brilliant. She dealt effectively with awkward family members, organised groups for photos with pleasant efficiency, and got to know us before the wedding to put us at ease on the day. She then spent her time going round the wedding and ensuring she took photos of all of them. Her rates were excellent and included a digital copy of all photos with license to print. We only had a wedding with just the two of us (and two witnesses plus chauffeur!) but despite this we were absolutely delighted with the album from Lorraine. I had previously seen the Graphi Studio albums and thought they would be so expensive as it's such a high quality product from Italy. I was amazed at the service and price Lorraine gave us. Lorraine was there to capture our special day. From planning stages she was on hand for advice, took the time to talk us through what to expect and helped us plan exactly what we wanted. She even did a pre shoot with our tiny flower girls which was an amazing idea, as it gave us the oppotunity to get pictures of the girls before the actual day, meaning on the day its self they were not under pressure "to perfrom" instead they were chilled and smiley! We got all our photos on CD so we have all photos. She had an amazing collection of special ways to capture our day, beautiful albums and some amazing wall art ideas. The weather was very up and down raining then stopping, Lorraine was amazing she was only supposed to be with us for 3 hours and yet she made the time to virtually spend all day with us and even came back at night to take extra shots even though we hadn’t paid for that.
