About

I am a strong believer of integrated functioning of the body and mind. Latest science of healing, health and trauma confirms that we need to find a way for that integration to happen. I have set up my own business to offer my skills, having been trained in the Alexander Technique, non-violent communication, compassion and trauma.

I love to bring to people something that I believe is needed the most. Stopping, taking a break, feeling safe to gently explore your state of being and become present with your experience. I love how from that first compassionate stop so much can heal and unravel. I enjoy offering this quality of calm, quiet and safe state of being to people struggling, while teaching them actual ways to improve their condition and functioning.

Having been a freelance music teacher before, I just love the lifestyle of independent business owner as I can make all the decisions about my work-life balance and ways of growing the business on my own.

I have never had a client not coming back after the first session. I think it's not really the technique you come to learn or therapy that you think you need, but a therapeutical self-journey towards healing. I'm also passionate about bringing Alexander Technique into people's awareness as an emotional healing tool next to better posture and relief of physical pain, which is something that talking therapy just cannot access. Often it helps you to stay open to receive if you haven't formed any opinions about the form of help your looking for.

Yes, the quality and results of my work have shown same high outcome online as well as in person. My online sessons work through Zoom or any other preferred platform. Often it is the only way to get quick help, depending on your location, budget that doesn't need to be spent on travelling etc. If you feel safe at home, there is no way harm can happen thanks to the simple and not demanding way of the technique.

I see most of my clients online, which keeps my home studio clean without many people coming and going. However, the ones who do come to me always wash hands, don't touch anything unnecessary, furniture is being wiped after every class and windows are open for air circulation. If the client wishes, we can both wear a mask. I am following the UK government guidelines every time the rules change.

Online lesssons happen through Zoom. Lessons are 45min long. Wear comfortable clothes (trousers, not a skirt) for simple movements of sitting, standing and lying down on a floor knees up. I will be gently guiding you through the movements with verbal guidance, helping you to remain in and deepen the non-reactive state of your nervous system. It can be a deeply relaxing experience but it doesn’t separate the calm state from alertness of your surroundings and reactions.

There is no need to speak or discuss your issue because we work with reactions to your issue, not the issue itself. However, it’s perfectly okay to reflect, discuss, ask or give feedback any time during the session.

For in-person hands-on lessons join me in my teaching room in Shepherd’s Bush, London. Lessons are 45min long.
