What a wonderful lunch! Staff were friendly and attentive but didn't hover around the table (despite my Grandad taking FOREVER to finish each course! ). Also, a special effort was made as it was his birthday - a very unexpected plate arrived at the end of our meal with a strawberries and cream theme and 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate. Was lucky enough to be taken to the Blue Strawberry this evening for my birthday. The decor and atmosphere upon arrival and whilst there was warm and inviting and we were greeted like old friends.
