Blank Spaces has been around for a couple of years now as a company. I have a total of 8 years in the interior design industry, and before that was working as a mechanical design engineer. This helps to bring a level of precision to everything we output as a company.

What’s your interior design process?
So the most important thing is to listen to the client. How do they use the space? How do they want to use the space? What style do they prefer? What is the budget? It's very important to have all of this information as much as possible in order to use our experience to design something specifically for each client.
Using the dimensions of the space we can see how to best the layout, product, lighting and construction of the space.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We can cater to any design style at all. It's our job to elevate the style that the client has requested and to not deter from a specific style.
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating spaces from a clients brief and trying to elevate their personal style. Seeing something develop from a render/ concept design to being installed on site as a finished project is fantastic, I love seeing things come to life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've worked in interior design for over 8 years now and there's a lot I learned from the businesses I worked in, and through this you learn what not to do as well! I wanted to start my own business so that I could do control the process, really take a lot of time and care over every project and make a completely personalised service that catered to the client and no one else.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me because I provide a completely personalised experienced catered to the clients. I'm here to listen to exactly what you want from your space and use that to give you something unique to you. I'm not tied to any suppliers or manufacturers so I'm also fully flexible with any product that's needed for the project.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes the service can be provided remotely. All that the client needs to do is send dimensions of the space and photographs and then we're good to go with the designs and renders. I also have the ability to send product anywhere and have contacts with installation teams for projects up and down the country.
Bathroom Design and Rendering
If the project is local I will visit site and survey the space, take photographs and a brief from the client that includes style, functionality and budget. From this I will design and render, as realistically as possible, the space. Also provided will be service drawings for install teams. If needed I can source product based on budget and even provide installation teams for the project.
If remote work is needed all of these services can still be provided, but the client will need to survey the space and send photographs and dimensions, but I'm here to guide them through that process.
