I couldn’t be more delighted with the service offered by Paul and his team (Kelly, Antonio and Harry) at Bishop Plumbing & Heating. Paul surveyed the house, explained all the options and issued a competitive boiler installation quote. No hard sell. His years of experience was plain to see. Antonio and Harry the installers arrived on time, were respectful in the house (shoes off/coverings down) and did a great job despite a few challenges an older house can bring. Antonio clearly takes pride in his work and worked solidly for 2 days. A true craftsman. Kelly in the office was a pleasure to speak too and answered any queries straightaway. Bishop Plumbing & Heating came out at very short notice. They provided an extremely professional, reliable and super efficient service from start ro finish. Prior to calling Bishop Plumbing & Heating, I called 2 other companies (purely due to the companies being listed in alphabetical order. Personally I think the listing order should be criteria based, customer service & telephone etiquette being a high number 1!!!!). Anyway, Its enough to say the previous 2 were completely unhelpful,miserable, grumpy and outright “r-u-d-e”). So it was a delight and a refreshing change to speak to a family run company whom evidently “do” care about customer care/service, efficiency, trust and satisfaction. Do I persevere with boiler which seems ok when it chooses to fire up but so frustrating when it didn't and with winter coming? If I have a new one will there be problems in the fitting etc? So I had Paul Bishop visit who gave me fair balanced views and the assurance of a knowledgeable heating engineer. I decided enough stress and indecision, to go for it. Paul confirmed all that he would do,the cost and the work date, in writing.Paul and George arrived when said they would with new boiler,pump, magnetic filter etc and got started- gas tested, drain system, old boiler off new one on,re-routed pipes soldered and connected, pump and magnetic filter fitted boiler fired up then magsystem cleaned and system tested all over house, finally inhibitor added- all managed in the same day! End result I have a new boiler, quieter,working on demand which gives me untold relief and pleasure and has a guarantee for 7years all at a fair price too. So glad I made that decision - if you in same position don't hesitate- go for it, contact Paul as I did who made the job seem simple no problems just solutions what a relief!. More...
