HUGE SHOUT OUT TO CAREY AT THE BRIGHTON BRANCH. I arrived at the Brighton branch today in a total fluster. My young son had fallen badly and with a possible broken foot close by. We hopped in and were greeted in and seen by Carey. Carey was just the loveliest person. We got hot drinks and sat and calmed down whilst my husband had to drive an hour to collect us for the hospital X-ray. Everyone that came in I witnessed Carey being so knowledgeable and friendly and I could see how impressed customers were with her. As is was nearly closing time and raining outside Carey let us stay after closing time (as my husband got caught in the rush hour traffic) and she really looked after us. This place rocks! I was visiting Portobello Rd store (London) yesterday and the woman behind the counter suggested I try Rooibos Breakfast Cuppa, when I was looking for something to replace my decaf English breakfast tea. It is mind-blowing how much it is like a breakfast tea for me. I’ve had to completely stop caffeine intake, and was sad to not find any decaf loose tea, with store-bought tea bags being full of microplastics etc. Amazing in-store service and all the staff I spoke to were helpful with recommendations! 5 stars! I visited the Oxford store today for the first time. Was looking for some advice on caffeine free teas and to get a selection to try. Was really impressed with the amount of choice on offer and how helpful and knowledgeable the staff were. Big thank you to Leo who spent time to listen to what I was looking for and guiding me through the many options on offer. As others have said, my order came promptly with attractive packaging and free samples. As I currently have Covid and can’t smell/taste anything I advised the company that I would not be filling out the satisfaction questionnaire just yet as I’m saving my tea for when I can experience it fully. I am new to bird and blend teas, have been looking for a decent cuppa for a long time. I decided to try their offer of 5 different flavoured teas. When the package arrived I ripped it open with great anticipation and found 2 freebies of tea bags as well as my 5 sachets of loose blends. I decided to try the rhubarb and custard tea and oh boy it did not disappoint. I was in heaven, the taste bought fond memories flooding back of the rhubarb and custard candies I ate as a child.
