Our Westie, Bob, spent a week here at the start of August. As soon as he was out of the car, he was off for a walk with his new best friend, having forgotten all about me! He came back clean, which for him was a real surprise. Price was very reasonable and the people who work there are very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. I have just dropped my 9month old fur baby fawn off at Berwick for her first ever stay away from our very busy family home. Just about found the kennels due to some lovely and highly amused locals who pointed me in the right direction with enthusiasm. I have been dreading this moment since we booked it but I need not have feared one bit, I was immediately put at ease with what I saw and heard. I was met by the kennel manager and Fawn was whisked away by a kennel hand on their lead for a walk. The handover was easy and painless, vaccination card and any other personal bits and bobs, I was quickly on my way home minus one pup who didn't look back tail wagging and was off on her holidays. Thankyou Berwick. Seeing the other dogs big and small arriving and leaving all healthy and full of energy was very reassuring, the grounds were lovely and well kept. Hi all, have just recently been taking our German Shepherd to Berwick Kennels after looking around for somewhere we were happy to leave Taylor as we are going away for five weeks. We are getting him used to the long stay by putting him there frequently. The staff are wonderful and extremely pleasant and absolutely wonderful with our baby. Henry has been staying at Berwick since he was four months old and as he was so small on his first stay, the family took him into the house rather than a kennel to make him more comfortable. The whole family are very approachable and very flexible when we need to add another day to a booking.Although Henry is a little sad when we drive him to kennels, he is always very excited when he arrives and is very happy in his holiday home. We trust Berwick with our dog and they always take very good care of him. Leave my 2 dogs and the in laws dog here every time we go somewhere we can’t take dogs. Always have a blast and are well taken care of. Walked twice a day and stay in a heated kennel with a capacity of 5. With only the 3 of them inside it’s so roomy for them. We picked our two dogs Poppy and Fudge up this afternoon after their stay at Berwick Kennels. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more professional kennels for our dogs to stay in. It was their first stay and we have been so impressed with the lovely, helpful, patient owners/staff that we have dealt with. Nothing has been too much trouble and the pictures posted on Instagram for our daughter to see whilst we were on holiday kept her happy knowing that the dogs were enjoying their stay. After hearing great reviews about here i decided to give it a go. My Barney Bear has now been going to doggy day care 1 a day a week for over 2 months. He’s also had a few overnight stays. I was very anxious the 1st time i left him as he’s only a puppy but after seeing him when i picked him up i knew he was happy. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Berwick, Eddie is a regular now and we know he is taken very good care of whilst there with plenty of walks too. All the staff are super and we are so grateful for their flexibility yesterday when our flight was delayed by snow.

Ozzie loved his stay. We are those neurotic dog owners that worried about him endlessly, but like a child on their first day of school, off he went without a backwards glance, so our worry was unfounded. He came home exhausted and well walked.
So pleased we were with their care, we have booked ozzie in again for a week in may.

My bull cross stayed here Monday to Friday. First ever time in kennels and from what I can see he had a really good time. No weight loss and the kennels were spotless . Could see that work is being done on an extension, can't wait to see the finished result. Lulu cried when she left! Enough said! �
At just 4 months old it was a tough decision to leave our puppy in the hands of a kennels, but we were put at ease from the first contact made. A very quick handover and reassurance she would be fine. When we picked her up it was evident Lulu had been well looked after. She was spotlessly clean and very happy. We drove away for home & she was looking back down the drive & had a good whinge that she was leaving! We can’t thank you enough for making Lulu’s stay a comfortable, safe and happy one. Bronson has stayed here a few times and is due for another short stay next week. I feel totally safe leaving him with Mandy and the boys as he comes home in good health and happy each time he stays. The last time he was dropped off he never even looked back at us as we left him and walked in wagging his tail. He likes it here. I know if there was a problem he wouldn't want to go in.
