Visited for a family birthday celebration for afternoon tea and had a lovely time. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Stayed last night after visiting Clifford health Spa .The hotel is 5 minutes away if I'm honest my initial reaction was the hotel is very tired and needs refreshing . However the host was very welcoming ,friendly and polite . We ate in the resturant for our evening meal and breakfast and the food was amazing probably the best Indian food we have had . We stayed in the family room it's spacious and has comfortable beds my only negative comment is the cleanliness in the bathroom . Don’t order a takeaway, it will take an hour for the ‘live tracker’ to say it’s ready/on route then never turn up… you can’t call and speak to anyone as the line is ‘engaged’ I tried 97 times…funny that because when I left my house at 9:20 (1 hour and 20 mins after placing the order) I went in and there was nobody on reception let alone on the phone. I had selected delivery but as I couldn’t actually contact anyone I was left with no alternative but to actually go to the premises to see what was going on. No explanation other than sorry it must of got missed and did I want to wait while they start the order. Absolutely disgusted, past the point of even wanting to eat. I made sure to get a refund before leaving and I will never return and will be sure to pass this on to anyone that will listen to avoid. More...

Not sure what you have done to your prices but a hike that large is a problem! I’ll also add your Biryani don’t even come with a sauce so you have to add your own, price jump of £8. 50 and you don’t get 20% off sneakily they take 15% and guess what your still paying a dam site more than you did a week ago without discount. Had a lovely takeaway tonight that was delivered by a wonderfully polite young man. It was earlier than expected, hot, fresh tasting and smelled amazing. We had the tikka masala, the tandoori style creamy broccoli, eggy rice and chips. Portions are not huge, but what we ordered was perfect for two people and no leftovers!
