Ben is quite simply the best of the best. We worked together for 6 months and Ben took me from one of my most unfit periods to being potentially the fittest I’ve ever been and feeling ready to take on my first high altitude mountains. Through his programming and support I had repeat progress week after week, even when something may get in the way we still got progress in there. Ben works with you to achieve your goal and is incredibly passionate in what he does. It is well worth investing in yourself by investing in Ben, and he is phenomenal at what he does.

Weekly check ins and support is a great idea and allows you to catch-up directly with Ben on each week to reflect and prepare for the schedule as it comes. Ben also provides expert insight into methods in and out of the gym to enhance performance, whether it’s how to use machines, perform an exercise, or hit that PB run time, Ben can get you there.

When I started working with Ben, I wasn’t unfit, I just knew I could do so much more to reach my potential. Ben was really helped, he has real knowledge in this field, cut’s through all the bs out there and gives real genuine helpful coaching and advice. I was on Ben’s program for a fairly intense 4 months and my life improved so much in every area – just as much out the gym as in the gym doing my workouts. His weekly check-in’s were a great reality check for me to take a step back and evaluate my lifestyle, compared to my potential. Ben (and Jen – the nutritionist Ben works with) were both really helpful, he gives just enough coaching and guidance to be supportive without being intrusive, and the accountability is spot on to help you reach your goals. My routine’s, my nutrition, my general fitness, as well as my confidence, relationship’s and ability to manage stress have all improved as a result of the coaching, and I feel I am killing it more and more in every area of life, I put it down to having a coach who believe in me and knew what I needed to do to grow and develop. 100% recommend! I signed up with Ben a year ago, it was one of the best decisions I ever made!!! I have PCOS and have struggled with my weight on and off since I was 16. I was scared to go to the gym and lack confidence in myself and life. I found Ben on Bark and with the help of a PCOS nutritionist and Ben I learnt that I could improve my PCOS symptoms and lose some weight.
Ben is not only knowledgable about exercise but understands how it works with functional medicine.
1 year on I have lost over a stone in weight and i’m in a much better place in life, it has also given me the confidence to sign up for sports events such as a 5k colour run, a 10k walk, a 10k mud run and the three peak challenge. Some of the events were organised by Ben to help his PT crew have goals and focus, I didn’t understand this need for a physical goal or focus before but now it's become part of everyday life, I have even booked a holiday based around activity this summer…..hurray!!!
I can't recommend Ben enough as a PT, give him a call you won’t regret it.

I’ve been training with Ben for nearly 2 years now and I’m super happy with my training journey. I am noticeably stronger but have also seen huge benefits in my overall health and well-being. He incorporates my interest in yoga and stretching in our training which I really enjoy! Ben has taught me to be more disciplined and always encourages me to moan less and challenge myself more. We have a mortgage brokerage based in Merrow and we thought that it would be a really good for team morale to have a weekly fitness session of some sort. We came across Ben Adams as he was a personal trainer in a local gym and enlisted his services to run a weekly yoga session in our office. Ben has been a revelation, none of us had previously tried yoga and very quickly it was apparent with Ben’s expertise we all began to really get into it. We have all now found improvements in so many areas of our fitness and flexibility that this is something we could really not do without. I started training with Ben two years ago. It might sound cliché but I was overweight, I had no confidence, so unfit and suffered from depression. We trained twice a week working on my fitness and weight loss. Ben gave support and motivation not just on fitness but nutritional advice and guidance too. If I was having an off day a text just to be told to get my shit together is all I needed. My confidence and fitness levels started building in no time. I lost weight and started feeling fitter and mentally and physically healthier too. In the last year we have been setting myself goals that I never thought I would achieve before from as little as doing a full press up to running a 5k park run. Ben also organised a trip to trek on Pen Y fan which was the biggest challenge I have completed so far. The challenges have given me a real sense of achievement and I cannot wait for the next one.
I now train with Ben once a week as I now have the confidence to train on my own in the gym. Even though I can train on my own I still seek his guidance and motivation to push me further. My aim is to keep improving my fitness and smash any crazy challenge Ben sets.
I cannot recommend Ben highly enough as he has such a professional and positive attitude to training and has his ability to motivate me has changed my outlook on life. His sessions are hard work but are worth the pain and sweat.

Knowledge is power. If you understand what is required to achieve the desired results then that’s half the battle won. Also a steady and comfortable approach with realistic time frames.
