With science now giving EVERYONE, through mobile phone and iPad, the opportunity to take an excellent reproduction ‘snap’.
It might be easy to overlook the experienced photographer’s ability to create something memorable far beyond. Through BelleBeau and Nigel we have many - treasured images over time which have included .....a unique composition or gifted interaction by Nigel when their clients innocently believe it a necessity to simply ‘strike a pose’ !?
Operating ‘right next door’ to where the ‘young’ John Constable created his famed paintings, I can only recommend a personal visit to the studios to witness first hand the ‘not so young’ Nigel’s long experience in creating, indeed immortalising YOUR special event.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
That depends on the style of the shot but as a general rule being aware of what is going on around you and being reactive and adaptable. Quite often the best shots are not planned in advance!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We take the same approach for commercial or wedding photography. We discuss and plan the look of the images our clients envisage. Then we add or professional slant and get creative! We are rooted in commercial work so we understand we must listen to the brief.
this means when we have shot weddings where they want a formal record of family and friends attending and those where they only want informal. Occasionally, we have even had requests where it is like a photoshoot and we bring portable studio equipment. The point is, it is not up to us to impose a 'style' on the results but to listen to the client and adapt to their vision.
What do you love most about your job?
Number one - taking pride in producing killer images that our clients love. As a bi-product of our work we get to meet wonderful people and, with weddings, their family and friends. Very like to be proactive and introduce a little humour in 'the chat' to help people relax and improve results!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Belief in our technical ability but also personality that is suited to this type of work.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are experienced, friendly, understanding and professional. We like to take our time to listen to our clients need and gain their trust. This si why we are commercial photographers as well as wedding photographers.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We operate online consultations with our potential clients and provide them with examples of our work via the internet.
Commercial Photography
We are professional commercial photographers that can adapt and stylise according to the look and feel our clients require.
We offer high quality, stylised images for commercial photography including product, advertising and fashion as well as websites and social media.
We also do highly stylised portraiture, both studio and on location.
We simply don't believe in one size fits all so we work closely with our wedding couples to come up with a personalised shooting plan. We can produce traditional images through to fly on the wall reportage or, as often requested a mixture of both. This way you have captured your day in many ways.
We shoot from preparations through to the evening party and normally with an assistant/second photographer.
We no longer do wedding photography as the market is saturated with part timers and non-professionals.
We recommend that we arrange a personal consultation where you can see samples of our work and discuss your personal requirements.
