Zaira was wonderful, so patient and knowledgeable, and has hugely helped our children interact so much more happily and safely with family pets as well as dogs we meet out and about.
She helped each of them based on their own needs, teaching my shyer youngest how to feel more confident and giving tips like why you should stand still if you're nervous, not run away as the dog thinks you're playing, while also helping my older one to understand what kind of play and cuddles are nice for him AND for the dog, and why for example it's not safe to try to pat unknown dogs in the park.
She also showed us good techniques to help out and keep things calm and happy, we're really happy and have recommended her to friends!

What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is that it allows me to build relationships with a variety of different dogs. I love learning from them, and I strive to achieve a mutual understanding which allows me not only to teach them, but also to build trust, collaboration and a meaningful bond.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I really wanted to spend as much quality time as possible with dogs, so being able to transform my passion into a job is a dream come true!
‘Choose a job you like, and you will never have to work a day in your life,’ Confucius once said.
Why should our clients choose you?
Not only I am passionate about what I do, but I constantly study to ensure that I have up to date knowledge about the best ways to teach dogs, to enrich them, to look after their emotional well-being, to deal with their fears and to meet their needs.
I don’t take more than 3 dogs at the time on regular walks, as it’s really important to me they get my full attention and the best, most enriching experience they can possibly have!

Dog Walking
These are fun walks with no more than 3 dogs per walk.
This is to ensure that each dog can benefit from the attention he/she deserves.
Enrichment and training activities are an integral part of our walks.

Training Walks
These are 1 to 1 walks where I focus on your dogs specific training needs. We will be working on those behaviours that your dog might be benefit from learning or practicing whilst ensuring he/she has lots of fun too!

Dog Training
These are 1 to 1 sessions held in person or remotely (where possible).
Using positive reinforcement, we will be teaching your dog desirable behaviours, whilst strengthening the bond between you and your dog.
We will be paying close attention to the dog’s emotional well-being and we will find ‘solutions’ where both yours and your dog’s needs will be met.

Child-Dog Interaction Sessions
These are specialised sessions in which I will teach your dog and children to build a relationship based on respect and trust.
I will be teaching your children about dog communication and body language, I will show them how to interact with your dog in a safe and respectful way, and I will provide your dog with strategies to cope when things get a bit intense or overwhelming.
I also offer sessions for families with children that are about to welcome a new dog, or for families with a dog that are about to welcome a new child, to ensure a pleasant, stress-free transition.
As well as being a professional dog trainer, my background is in child psychology and I have an extensive experience working with children.
