I believe everyone should support their local businesses especially in light of the covid pandemic. We used them a few years ago but understand this has changed hands and wow what a difference in such a short space of time to run reputation into the ground!

Please read this review as a warning to look for alternative providers. We are taking this organisation to the small claims court out of principle for being dangerous. There was no risk assessment carried out and Nick admitted liability that the job should not have taken place during wet weather therefore putting their employees at danger. As a result the first branch cut came crashing down into a neighbours shed.

Having sent numerous emails and phone calls over nearly two months it’s very apparent they just don’t care and have no intention of even apologising never mind repairing the damaged caused. I explained there is bad health involved with the client but again no humanity shown or even able to return any calls. Don’t be fooled by the reasonable price and the long history. The ladies answering the phone are lovely and really trying their best with no cooperation from Nick. It does make me question whether they have insurance or this is a common occurrence? More...

Becker Trees managed to sort out my tree with the minimum of hassle. From the moment I called there was constant communication. I was promised a call on Friday to book an appointment for the weekend to view the tree, which all happened and the follow up meeting took place. The price was about half that of another surgeon who quoted, so everything was agreed. As I was going to be at work, we agreed that they would call me when they were going to do the work, so I could make sure the drive was clear and that was it. When I came home from work the tree and waste was all gone. They didn't chase me for the money, saying they would pick it up at a mutually convenient time. All in all a very helpful service, even recommending which trees I might buy to replace the one that has been cut down. More...
