Nutritionists & Dietitians

Can’t be happier with Beatrice Lioy, I needed advice on correct foods to be eating for my busy lifestyle to boost my weight loss and energy levels moving forward. Slight adjustments have made a big impact and at no point have I needed to miss out on treats here and there. I’d like to thank Beatrice for giving me time to understand me and my diet. I definitely recommend working with Beatrice ,5 star professional More...

Nutritionists & Dietitians

I wanted a dietician who could advise on my diet and suggest changes to help with reducing sugar consumption, increasing energy levels and a fatty liver. Beatrice was superb. She analysed my food diary which gave a good picture of what I was consuming and the calories, nutrients and fat that were associated with that. She was then able to apply her great knowledge to suggest changes that would be beneficial. I felt that Beatrice really worked with me, agreeing changes that we both thought would work. I'm really pleased with the results. I would recommend Beatrice very highly as she is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and has a great way of working with you to agree dietary changes. More...

Q&As

A healthy diet is crucial to present and future health and wellbeing. A healthy, balanced diet can support a variety of issues. It can help with tiredness by replenishing the body with nutrients that are essential to energy metabolism; it can support the maintenance of a healthy weight that is not too high or too low, therefore preventing many acute and chronic diseases; it can support a person's mood by providing nutrients essential to cognitive function, and so much more.

What I love the most is empowering clients to achieve their own individual goals. Whatever the goal is, no matter how big or small, its achievement is always a victory. I love supporting people in getting where it makes the most sense for them personally, it is incredibly rewarding.

Many people need help with their diet, but sometimes it may be difficult for them to go to a clinic during working hours. Being able to reach many more of them through online consultations at very flexible hours and seeing their improvements really inspired me to expand my online business.

The number one reason is that I genuinely love what I do. I have a real passion for helping people and I feel very fortunate to have the knowledge and skills to be able to do this through nutrition. I always surrounded myself with the most diverse people and I have no judgment toward anyone, which I hope also makes me a friendly and approachable person to be talking to about one's health.

Yes, I provide my services online only. I host consultations on Google meet, and if the client is unfamiliar with Google meet, I am perfectly happy to use other platforms.

I primarily have online consultations. On the rare occasions where I take on face-to-face consultations, I can reassure my clients that (being a health scientist) I am triple vaccinated, and I am happy to wear a mask if preferred.

Services

I am a registered associate nutritionist with a diploma of HE in Dietetics, offering 1-to-1 consultations.

I can support weight loss and weight gain, eating healthier, and more. I cannot treat any medical condition through diet. However, I can look at the client's current diet and identify any foods being eaten excessively or insufficiently. I can then work with the client's own personal preferences and circumstances to re-establish equilibrium in their diet. This way, issues such as potential vitamin and mineral deficiency might be minimized, which might improve health and help prevent disease.

I charge £40/h. I offer my services over a minimum of two sessions. The first lasts 30 minutes and it is about gathering as much information as possible from you regarding your health status, dietary habits, etc. Then you go away and produce a 5-day food diary, which I analyze through a software for professionals. The following session lasts 60 minutes and it is about discussing the dietary analysis, identifying anything that may need correcting, and negotiating practical changes to achieve this. Of course, this is all adapted to your needs and goals.

I am very keen to work closely with each client to agree on changes that are feasible for them and that take into account their lifestyle, job, preferences, habits, and more.
