BN1, Brighton
Hey there, my name is Adam, I'm from Canada and I started Bear Strength Fitness and Nutrition because it was the next natural step for me to continue growing. I'm now able to travel to people who want my help and train them in their homes or outdoors (weather permitting) and I love it!

Large park and recreational grounds. Attractive little rose garden and pond with fish and tadpoles for children to peer at. A safe and well thought out children's playground and a cafeteria for a light lunch and snacks. Dog walking areas and fairly decent toilets with nappy changing facilities. Disabled access throughout. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
With a friendly understanding approach, however I'm firm when it's needed. Everybody needs that push sometimes and I'm there to give it. Also just having fun, getting healthier shouldn't be a drag.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Finding the right balance for you. Every body is different, so you have to have a look at yourself and your lifestyle and decide what has to be done and what you have to do to get what/where you want to be. This should fit into your lifestyle and not be burden. Find what form of exercise you enjoy most and go with it.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people the most. Previously being overweight has given me a understanding to the struggles some people may go through when it comes to food or exercise. When it clicks in someone's head and things start coming together, that's a really rewarding part of the job. Also being outside, I find that quite therapeutic.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted the freedom to be independent and move around more instead of being stuck on the gym floor. Also a lot of people may not know this but gyms can either charge rent to trainers or take a cut of their sessions. Like I said in my profile this was the next natural step for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
People should choose me because (not being big headed) I'm the whole package. I'm friendly, funny, hard working and fairly priced. You don't just get a trainer when you work with me, (super cheesy) you get a friend. Honestly though, I try my best to make sure my clients are having fun. It maximises results and strengthens our working relationship.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. I have a laptop, skills and knowledge of what it takes to help you out wherever you may be. I have meal plans, exercise plans and offer online sessions over webcam if you like. The only thing I can't do for you is bring my equipment.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Clients who workout outside with me have the least to worry about. However I do sanitize all my equipment before and after use. If I'm indoors with someone I will always offer to wear my face mask.
Personal training and nutrional counseling
Provide quality personal training sessions tailored to each individual.
Offer nutritional counseling with recipes and easy to follow guidlines to maximise results.
Keep motivation high and easy to reach for questions and guidance.
