Wowee. A disgustingly beautiful and to die for, dirty burger (2 patties is never too much). Those salted habenero wings and vegan, lemon cake shake; fecking yummy.

First visit earlier and was really impressed! Absolutely delicious food and can't wait to return. The only thing I was disappointed with was the sweetcorn, the cob was very overcooked like those ready cooked things you get vac packed in the supermarket. Everything else was brilliant so didn't bother complaining! Ordered a chocolate brownie for my son, I don't really do dessert, and had a taste and it was ridiculously good - I guess I am a pudding person after all! Yum! More...

Honestly cannot recommend this place enough, we have visited twice now and have left amazed each time. The staff are so genuine and friendly and will help with anything. The menu has a massive range, the chicken burgers being crispy and tasty, and the chips full of flavour. The milkshakes are also incredible, so many different flavours and really are a treat. We saw a review on Rate my takeaway! And we were not disappointed! I had the buttermilk chicken burger with a grizzly topper and my partner had a beef burger with The grizzly topper and fries. The burgers are awesome and taste beautiful! Quite often places do not stand up to their reviews but Bear Kitchen does! Everytime I visit Wakefield we try Bear Kitchen and I really want to keep supporting you, but the vegan food is really disappointing. The veggie menu seemed much improved this time, but the burgers were just like a strange consistency that didn't taste great at all. I've got a theory that you can tell how good a food outlet is just by ordering a salad. If the salad is good, then the rest of the menu almost certainly will be too. And Bear Kitchen's salads are incredible. Fresh and delicious, and would easily stand up as a light lunch in their own right. As for the burgers, you'll be hard-pushed to find better. Meat-free options feature heavily on the menu as well as the classic beef, and I can vouch for the vegan and mac 'n' cheese options as well as the beef. Just had a raspberry and white chocolate milkshake with my Kiev chicken burger and fries. The milkshake was incredible, so thick and creamy and tasted so fresh!
