BDA is a great driving school run by a close-knit group of excellent instructors. They work together like a family and have strong values in how they conduct their business. I was lucky enough to have lessons from both Mark Wacey and Clare Jukes who are highly skilled BDA instructors operating in a calm and patient manner.I have experienced a bad instructor (shouting and impatient) from another driving school. I will mention no names but it rhymes with hensons and the owner has a very dodgy history (google it) so I know what I am talking about when I review BDA as I have experienced both sides of the fence.Clare will go the extra mile (no pun intended) to ensure that not only do you pass your test but you are a safe and conscientious driver after the test. She will treat you like family and is genuinely rooting for you to pass just as much as you are or maybe even more. She personally invests in the success of every single one of her students with passion and determination. My test unfortunately landed on a day with a bad weather forecast that could cause a cancellation. Clare was up at 3am checking to weather to determine if the test would go ahead. You won't find a more committed instructor. She will focus on not only helping you pass first time but also teaching you how to drive to an excellent standard after passing. Any parents looking for a good instructor for their children should look no further. They won't only learn how to pass a test as they are taught that this is just the beginning they will also learn how to make and keep safe driving habits for life. Her motto is if she wouldn't be completely happy with you driving with her children in the back of your car then you need to improve your skills. Her attitude and advise will make an impression and stay with you long after you pass.Driving with Clare is like having a good friend next to you that you can chat with about anything and everything but also having the help and guidance of a professional instructor at the same time. If you want a cool and calm instructor then look no further BDA is the school you need.They also do lots of work with schools which I don't think is all that profitable for them but it is a great service to the community as it catches drivers whilst their young and puts them on the right path for a safe and conscientious driving future.
