Battersea Smiles

I visited Battersea Smile just over a year ago with extremely crooked teeth. I explained that I had been to three other Dentists who told me it would be a huge job to make my teeth straight and would take years. The staff at Battersea smile reinsured me that this was not the case and they could definitely help me. With this amazing news I started my treatment straight away. I cannot explain how happy I am with the whole process. Not only did it go extremely fast they were very efficient and always at the other end of the phone if I needed anything at all. I have recently completed by Invisalign treatment with Marisa at Battersea Smiles and can honestly say that I would recommend both Marisa and Battersea Smiles to anyone considering having braces or dental treatment in general. I had wanted braces for so many years after my teeth had progressively got more and more crowded as I approached my 20s. Several times I had gone for consultations and just never felt much confidence with the dentist and was also told completely different treatment options, prices and lengths by every dentist I visited.As soon as I had my consultation with Marisa I immediately made the decision to finally take the plunge and have my braces fitted. She was so helpful from the get go, offering me a full scan during the initial consultation (was never offered this elsewhere) which enabled me to see exactly how my teeth could appear after braces. She also predicted a treatment time that seemed realistic and would achieve my goals but also, that would be never ending and a lengthy drawn out treatment. Prior to my treatment I had to have a bad tooth removed, I had had issues with this tooth for years and had been too embarrassed to go to the dentist about it. Marisa included the extraction in my treatment plan and made the whole experience as pain free as possible and obviously clearly knows what she is doing and is very experienced and competent.My Invisalign took approximately 7 months altogether as I needed 11 more trays after the initial 19 as I have a very stubborn incisor that didn’t want to move in quickly I never felt that my treatment was rushed and Marisa worked with me to get my to exactly how I wanted them. My treatment is now over, it went so quickly and I honestly can’t believe the different in my teeth. I have so much more confidence when smiling and have the teeth I had always dreamed of. Battersea also offers lots of little extras to the treatment to make my results perfect such as reshaping, a small amount of bonding and whitening. Lengthy review I know but credit where credit is due and I couldn’t recommend Marisa or Battersea Smiles enough and will definitely have all future dental work with them. Marisa is so friendly, approachable and down to earth, she has amazing communication skills and will keep you informed at every step of the process. It was always easy to arrange appointments, even with me being out of the country 4 days a week for work, I was never left waiting for an appointment and Marisa was also super understanding when I am always running late!!! If you hate going to the dentist then you need to visit Battersea Smiles and see Marisa and her team and trust me you will never fear the dentist EVER AGAIN! !! I have been coming to Battersea Smiles for years and ever since Marisa took over its been a million times better! She has recently helped me with an awful ongoing tooth pain which turned out to be an infected nerve which meant it was Root Canal time and believe it is the most fun and exciting experience I ever had! Marisa made me feel so comfortable and at ease that I was SO EXCITED for my root canal and literally there was ZERO pain. The day After I was more tender than sore with a slight throbbing but honestly stop listening to everyones horror stories of root canals and defiantly DONT google it as I did because those people are telling you lies! Before Christmas while working in London I needed an emergency dentist for severe toothache which turned out to be an infection needing treating before root canal treatment could be carried out. I called Battersea Smiles and they fitted me in later that day.I was seen by Marisa who was assisted by Sylvia. Marisa is the warmest dentist I have ever encountered.
