It’s a real home from home. While we humans are off exploring new sights it’s comforting to know your dog is also getting a similar experience with their host. New walks , plenty of cuddles company and maybe few more treats!! I think the only downside is your dog loves it that much they don’t want to come home like we all feel after having a break away from routine. The hosts are fully checked and matched with the dogs. Every attention is given to ensure your dog is the priority . You get a message and a picture from your dog!! it’s good to know that they are well looked after and attended to on a one to one basis rather than be in a kennel and being one of many that need attention . We love barking mad! We take our Flossy there to have her nails trimmed & they’re the best with her! Took my bird in there today to have his nails trimmed & they didn’t need to be trimmed but Jerry played with my bird & gave me tips & tricks for my picky guys eating habits! We love them!

Our 2 dogs had an amazing time with their hosts. It's the first time we've used Barking Mad and we've been really impressed with the set up from the first meeting finding out about what their likes and dislikes were to the trial overnight stay and finally to their week's holiday. They have come back to us in excellent condition and very chilled even bringing a postcard filled with their adventures. Rehomed a Pom that was terribly matted. Took 3 days of long hours each day for Jerry to get her under control. His patience and care for this new member of my family was endearing to me. We are delighted to have a pet store here Holly Hill. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. They care deeply about animals. They sale pet supplies, if they don't have what you're looking for they will order it. They provide grooming services. The humane society comes once a month on Saturdays in the mobile vet to provide vet service: shots, spay, neuter, microchips, etc., (@ a great price). Having recently moved to Cornwall, I needed someone I could rely on to take excellent care of my beloved dog for a few days. Barking Mad were brilliant! Marley clearly had a wonderful time with Helen, which he told me all about in his postcard! (And he was so beautifully brushed, his coat almost sparkled!) He bounced off for his next visit a few weeks later with great excitement and had lots of fun with Margaret. Not only did everyone take great care Marley, but when I asked if his visit could be extended for a few more days, Mandy was amazing. At a very sad and difficult time for me, Mandy made sure that I didn’t have to worry about Marley - she took care of everything and her reassurance meant a great deal to me.
