Delicious cake and friendly staff. I had the lemon, blueberry and elderflower cake. I was very tempted by the carrot, mandarin and neroli and the chocolate cake looked fab too. There was a gluten free option there as well.will definitely visit again ! More...

Lovely little bakery with the most incredible cakes you've ever tasted, reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Good selection of teas (as far as I can tell - not a huge tea drinker myself), and delicious coffee, and the staff are really friendly. Well worth a visit whenever possible! More...

Super super super tasty cakes! It's also such a cosy place, I would just LOVE to spend time here. I'd also love to get some work done here, but it's always so packed! It was difficult for my friends and me to find enough seating even though we were only three people. Just goes to show how Oxford really loves this place, I suppose. Anyway, I tried a variety of their cakes, and they're super unique but all just the perfect texture and everything. Highly recommend, and even if I'm a bit far from Barefoot, I'd definitely go out of my way for more of their cakes! More...

Barefoot is a wonderful little cafe! I was wowed by the beautiful cakes in the window, decorated with flowers and fruit! The rose and raspberry slice was as delicious as it looked and was served with a smile. Extra care was taken for my partner who has severe nut allergies, which was really appreciated. The iced latte was lovely too! Definitely worth a visit! More...

This is an incredible, independent coffee shop (although I understand there is now a Woodstock branch) that I would really recommend if seeking a relaxing coffee in Jericho. Above all, the cake (clearly home-made!) is to die for and probably the best I’ve ever had in a coffee shop. I regret that, in my case, not living in Oxford prevents me from visiting more regularly. Possibly Oxford's best cakes and coffee? Good stop also for anyone cycling out of city to the Port Meadow.

Always such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. It's now a favourite of mine if I have a child free morning, although when I have visited with the children they have been made to feel more than welcome. This morning was no exception on quality, my brother & I shared the banana bread & the lemon and blueberry cake. The latter proved popular with all the customers coming in after us and ordering the same. Both cakes were absolutely divine. More...

I used to come here weekly while studying abroad and it was always so warm, cozy, and friendly. My go to treat was the banana bread with yogurt and honey- it sounds simple but it is so amazing. I loved the variety of classic cakes and breads with simple twists... like chocolate cakes with beets, or mango poppyseed cake, etc. it's a must visit bakery! More...

Amazing cake. So well done, they will have a cake for you even if you thought you didn't like or need cake. Interesting combinations, perfect balance of moisture, sweetness and flavours. A delight, can turn around a bad day and improve a good one. More...

This coffee shop was close to our airbnb so we decided to stop by before heading out for the day. There are quite a few tables so we were easily able to find a place to sit even though it was busy. There was free wifi which is pretty standard for cafes/restaurants in Oxford.I ordered a pot of their loose leaf tea and a slice of lemon blueberry cake. The slice was pretty generous and filled with lots of fresh blueberries. I really liked the vanilla frosting but I found the cake to be a little too moist/sweet for my taste. 4 stars only because the food options were limited to cakes. More...

Great little cake/coffee/tea place in Jericho! The cakes are beautiful and delicious. You can get an americano and a very filling slice of cake for only 5 pounds! Also, they have a punch card that is applicable to cakes, coffee, and tea so I'm always getting a free slice! Lovely atmosphere and staff as well! More...
