Singing Lessons
I have sung at a professional level for over 20 years, and have experienced various schools of vocal technique from traditional 'bel canto' methodologies of Marchesi and Lucie Manen to Husler, to the popular and accessible Estill Vocal Training system.
I have had, as many singers have, a few moments in my singing life where I’ve had to make technical adjustments and troubleshoot an issue before it takes real hold. I know that anything can be reversed with patience and skill, so troubleshooting is my speciality. Often it is a confidence issue as a lack of confidence can lead to a holding back and from there tension becomes the real enemy of freedom. A singer needs to learn a language to instruct the body so that it can offset any tension.
If you want to learn a song, aria, or join a choir and/or if have confidence issues with your voice, come and see me for a consultation. I do not rigidly apply a particular technique and mix and match a few ideas tailored to the students needs, abilities and level. I am also gaining a reputation as a trouble-shooter for experienced singers who have encountered vocal problems.

Piano lessons for beginners, any age!
Piano was my first instrument before I became a singer. I love the instrument and it’s repertoire and it is the gateway to music. I prefer to teach the early grades where you begin to feel confident and develop your musical knowledge, and I tie in music theory as we go along, so that music is deeply understood and appreciated as the great art that it is.
Whether you just want to learn to play ‘a few tunes’ and read music correctly, or even compose simple pieces, or you’re serious about playing through the grades, I’ll get you going on your piano journey.
