Avril’s Travels

We have to start by saying Avril became family within hours of meeting her. We hired Avril to be our private hire tour guide around Inverness. However, she went above and beyond those duties. My husband and I arranged to renew our wedding vows in a Celtic Handfasting Ceremony during our 1 day visit to Inverness. She picked us up from the cruise port and had decorated her van with ribbons and flowers which was extremely thoughtful. We immediately clicked with Avril, her energy and vivacious personality was the perfect start to our unforgettable day. Avril was extremely knowledgeable about the area as she was born and raised there. She also knew the most efficient roads to travel to avoid wasted time in traffic (huge plus). Avril did more than drive and talk, she was the holder of cell phones, bags, sunglasses and even the photographers assistant to make sure we had the perfect photos captured. There was absolutely zero stress and we laughed so much throughout the day. She made such an impact on our lives and our Historical Scottish Romance Handfasting Ceremony, that we invited her and her daughter to come on Holiday to our home in the United States.
