Gerard's home and treatment room is a feast for imagination. There are lots of nice tones and relaxing decor to make any client feel relaxed immediately upon entering Gerard's home. Parking is easy and free. On arrival, Gerard is extremely courteous and inviting. In the treatment room, Gerard sits with the client and goes through all the formalities including paperwork for insurance purposes (rare) and asks all pertinent questions to make the client feel that they are in truly safe hands... literally. Gerard emphasizes how the client may relax and express their wishes during and after the massage with matters concerning pressure and contact to treats such as herbal teas, water, hot face towel, or simply lying on the massage couch without a worry in the world absorbing the indulgent room atmosphere... the space belongs to the client and Gerard truly and genuinely encourages the client to enjoy the space and the moment. It is a room I could sleep in quite happily. I booked the Swedish massage. This is a Swedish massage with many twists and turns I can assure you. I felt like I was riding waves, like I was a car in a car wash, like I was going through a therapeutic cycle of pain, gain and pure enjoyment and bliss. I have issues with my soles, feet, ankles, knees, lower back and neck and arms and everything in between so I am your typical car crash! Gerard's full body Swedish massage is truly a full body. From head to toe. An important thing that I notice in my masseurs is that they all have different definitions of full body as hard as that may be to believe. Gerard, DOES the head, face, neck, shoulders, back, bum muscles, thighs, knees, calves, feet, toes, hands, forearm, biceps etc.. My body needs this experience and I see Gerard as often as I can.
