I am disappointed with the level of service provided by this company. On the 2nd of June, George visited the property, and after mutual agreement on a price, no invoice was sent. Subsequently, I wrote a review on the 9th of June, which prompted a phone call fromStephen. During the conversation, I was assured that a new invoice would be issued, encompassing all the details we discussed, along with a confirmed date for the service. To my surprise, the invoice received was incomplete, lacking the cost of materials I specifically requested, and it exceeded the agreed-upon price by £100. Furthermore, the scheduled service date was disregarded, and no one arrived at the property as arranged.

Upon contacting Stephen, I was informed that the manager was unavailable due to being away and the company had been really busy. (which means nothing to me) While I understand the challenges businesses face, the lack of professionalism displayed throughout this process has led me to reconsider proceeding any further with them

Additionally, I attempted to reach out to George, the initial representative who visited the garden, but regrettably, no response was received. Despite the positive reviews, my personal experience has been far from satisfactory.

Avoid Z Tree Services:
If we could put zero stars, we would.
We requested Z tree service to eradicate some trees in late April 2023.
2 of their gardeners, George and another operator, Visited our property after we provided specific photographs of the plants that had to be removed in advance via WhatsApp.
When they arrived, we made sure to show them which trees exactly had to be removed, to avoid any sort of mistake or misunderstanding.
Despite this, George and colleague eradicated our beautiful olive tree in the process, that was absolutely not supposed to go.
That was a tree that was particularly important for us, and we feel immensely sad and disappointed that they removed it.
George apologised, we decided to pay them anyway for the work done, as we are respectful and decent people, and then I contacted Stefan, the business coordinator, to report the mistake and seek compensation.
Since then, we have been promised a replacement.
They offered a small sapling of olive tree that we refused as the original olive tree was over 1.8 m tall.
They procrastinated for over a month and eventually on 30th May, to add insult to injury, they did send us an olive tree.. But fake. A plastic olive tree as a compensation.
They said they had no idea it was a fake tree and that they'd replace it for us.
Since then, we've been waiting for a confirmation of when we will finally receive the real tree.. But we have been literally ghosted.
We ended up asking as a last resort a cash compensation, just to close this off and move on, but they refuse to come back to us.
So here we are, sharing our bad experience with Z Tree specialist.
We do not recommend their service. We feel honestly betrayed and humiliated, especially because we have been incredibly kind, patient, open to negotiation and understanding.
Mistakes happen, it's not a problem, we are human and we can fix issues together, with honest communication, humility and respect... Clearly these are values that you don't posses as individuals and as a company. More...

Once we agreed the scope of the tree felling and removal a date was agreed.

Excellent. On time, helpful efficient and incredibly courteous. One young man even helped me in with my shopping! The work in the garden was splendid, leaving everything beautifully shaped and I have much more light after a neighbour’s sprawling overhang was removed. Definitely recommend.
