I am in contact with a tree surgeon. He has given me an estimate from a photo and is visiting on Monday to see the tree and give a quote. So far great service!

Not impressed, couldn't explain what I wanted, within seconds of describing what I wanted he took over and stated what he wanted to do. I went with him as he was prepared to start there and then and was roughly what I wanted but he dismissed something additional to what he was set to do. Once initial job was done it didn't look too bad we finally got back onto part of job he originally dismissed and it was expensive but the garden was half done. This guy wanted paying in cash, not sure how many people hold £1600 cash in hand and tried insisting that I go the bank to withdraw such a quantity and there was more still to pay. This guy also doesn't have business account either. What's worse when he left it didn't look to bad but one week later the weeds have returned so the areas were not treated as promised and big roots clearly left. Hedges not trimmed backed fences, twigs not removed from fences. Made it clear that after the job was complete it need to left for me not do anything afterwards as not a gardener and suffer with back problems when I do. Not happy. More...
