George and the team at Approved Roofing completed two jobs for us. We bought a Victorian terrace house, which required some long overdue repairs. A chimney stack needed repointing and a leaking slate roof needed mending. I haven't had much luck with roofers in the past. Two previous ones were extremely disappointing. I wasn't looking forward to finding another, but followed the usual protocol of three quotes. George came across as the most professional, knowledgeable and courteous. After listening to my concerns and looking at the areas he clearly explained how best to fix them. He then provided a written quote with an aim, outcome and bullet point plan. This was just what I wanted. The bullet point or step by step, plan meant I knew exactly what was being done and served as a checklist at the end. George was also on site to check the work and outcome. We were very satisfied with the work and relieved to find a professional and good roofer. He will be our first choice from now on. More...

We have had George and his team complete two different jobs on our house, bay window roof as well as soffits and guttering. George left no stone unturned on both jobs and worked extremely hard with his team to get both jobs done to a high standard and within a good time scale. The team are polite and appear dedicated to their projects and work to a professional standard (no swearing & safety conscious).We would highly recommend this company and I can guarantee George would be the first person I would contact in the future if we needed more work done in this field. Written estimate received within hours of seeing the work needed. Workmen arrived on the day stated and completed in the proposed timescale, and not requiring "pampering" during the day - I did ask if they wanted a cuppa! "The Boss" arrived to inspect the work done and asked me if I was happy with the roof covering - I was given a detailed plan of what was going to be done before the work started and re-capped following completion.I will recommend the company to anyone who asks if they know of a good roofer, as I only do so when I consider a job well done, which had been done at my house that day. Asked George to do some maintenance on our roof in November to realign the ridge tiles and replace chimney stack lead. They also secured down some slates that slipped. Happy with the work completed would have given 5 stars although George came when we were out and hadn't confirmed date they were coming to do the work.
