I produce architectural planning and building regulations drawings for a wide variety of domestic and commercial clients.
I specialise in loft conversions, extensions, and small new-build residential projects.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Ideally you'll want at least 2.4 metres height, at ridge level, to begin with.
Stairs up into the loft may sometimes cause problems, so special attention is needed in this area.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?

What do you love most about your job?
Helping clients achieve their vision of a beautiful home, and the best possible way of doing that...financially, and aesthetically.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I work closely with the client so I know the brief fully. Together we can then produce the best possible scenario.
Why should our clients choose you?
I take the time to explain the process fully, and I pre-empt future potential problems.
Survey
A survey of the property/site is crucial to make sure we are working within the correct limitations.
Feasibility Study
Sometimes a feasibility study is needed to ensure we don't waste time further along.
Design and Drawings
The design and drawings are crucial to make sure we are achieving the best possible situation, not only for the footprint and flow of the areas, but also in terms of Planning and Building Regulations.
Planning Application
I can produce and submit all drawings and documents needed for the Planning process.
Building Regulations Application
I produce and submit all architectural drawings and documents needed for the Building Regulations process.
I also work very closely with a Structural Engineer.
