I have many life experiences which aid me in understanding varied and comprehensive life issues. In my role as counsellor/hypnotherapist I am able to offer empathy in a calm, safe, non-judgemental space where you can talk through any issues or difficulties you are experiencing.
I use an integrative approach in counselling to enable each client’s individual needs which can be adapted throughout your progression as you grow within your achievements. I will work on the presenting issue and support to enable you to gain personal growth throughout your journey.
I gained a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills in November 2014, going on to achieve a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in November 2015, and then achieving an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in November 2016. Since I qualified, I have worked as a volunteer for Cruse Bereavement gaining an advanced certificate in Bereavement and loss. This has given me a lot of experience working with loss and bereavement and I continue with ongoing training to aid me with my skills and development.
I work as an ethical counsellor under strict confidentiality. Only under exceptional circumstances where there is a perceived risk to others or yourself, that confidence would have to be broken. Should that happen I would discuss with you fully beforehand.
