The display boards have been inaccurate both times this week I have been here. The website says delays due to cancellations but it would be helpful if the display boards here, at the route origin, were up to date

Overall, Hammersmith is a great town with multiple shops, bars and means of transport but the bridge has been broken for multiple years meaning that getting in there has been a nightmare from where I live in Barnes. There seems to have been no real process. More...

Hammersmith tube station is a great interchange between a network of buses Located on the upper floor, and the Piccadilly district lines on the ground floor. To get to the Hammersmith and city line you need to cross the road to a separate tube station. There is all manner of little shops and a large Tesco and they’re often interested in art installations within the space. Yesterday I found a crazy giraffe with balloons. Fabulous! More...

Q&As

Although I've always had a keen interest in anything to do with psychology, I found my passion for hypnotherapy quite by chance. My original career was as an orchestral musician which got to breaking point as a result of crippling performance nerves. A hypnotherapist friend generously put me on her online hypnotherapy programme and nobody was more surprised than me when my nerves simply evaporated.

Since that moment, I had to study hypnotherapy. It's been a fascinating journey so far and I really enjoy being able to help others in the way I was helped.

Often, therapists work for themselves so starting my own business was an inevitability. I very much enjoy having the freedom to create and develop my therapy business in the way that resonates with me.

I use a variety of powerful therapeutic tools to complement my work as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and EFT Practitioner including:
The Blast Technique (a refined form of EMDR that helps to process trauma)
NLP
Integrated Energy Techniques
Life Coaching

I provide services remotely only. It allows for more flexibility of time and less time spent travelling. It also ensures that clients feel safe during the pandemic.

I now work online so that clients can feel safe and concentrate fully on their emotional recovery.

Services

Hypnotherapy is a collaboration between the client and the therapist. During your first consultation a suitable treatment plan will be established and you will receive a full hypnosis.

Hypnosis is often described as being similar to the state between wakefulness and sleep. Although there is no right way to feel, many people experience a sense of calmness, tranquillity and a feeling of deep physical and mental relaxation. You may hear every word or none at all, you may have an altered sense of time or feel completely normal.

You are aware and in control of your thoughts, your privacy and what you say or do at all times.

EFT is a form of acupressure (tapping on various points on the body) that helps to relieve emotional and physical pain.

As with hypnotherapy, some issues can be dealt with in one or two sessions but, with more complex issues, further sessions might be required.

EFT, in my experience, can be quite tiring (in a good way!) as emotions can process very quickly. For this reason each session will last for 1 hour.

Weight loss can be difficult and complex as issues with food are often tangled up with our beliefs, experiences and coping mechanisms.

This five session package gives us time to work through unhelpful thought processes and unhook negative emotions associated with food.

The focus is on re-training your brain to recognise different forms of hunger, to de-code these messages and to establish healthy and powerful strategies to successfully maintain a positive mind-set around food.

Mindful eating is at the heart of this programme and we will work from the premise of self-nurture rather than self-denial.

Personalised recording included.

Neuroscience research shows that structures in the right side/hemisphere of the brain are overactive and acting as if there is an immediate threat in sufferers of PTSD and trauma.

The BLAST Technique® utilises precise bi-lateral movements with a light pen (which helps the memory access the left side/hemisphere of the brain) and specific suggestions to the client which helps reprocess the traumatic event so they understand what happened and can remember, but it no longer has any physical or emotional response.
