About

My quest is to help people thrive. That's it, a simple idea. Balancing all that we are in life, is a fine art and I personally believe that the philosophies of Chinese Medicine can fundamentally support us as human beings, in our constantly changing world.

Q&As

The people, for sure. I see so much diversity in the people who visit the clinic, it's certainly the part that makes my job interesting.

I sustained a knee injury in my early 20's and I was able to successfully rehabilitate using Acupuncture. That first sparked my interest, but it wasn't until I learnt the Chinese philosophy around medicine, that I felt inspired to become a therapist myself.

I'm good at what I do. I've spent 13 years running my own clinic and have travelled extensively around the world, attending seminars and courses. I've acquired the best information about wellness and I ensure I pass it on to every patient I see.

I also wrote a book 'A 7-step DIY guide to Outrageous Good Health'. It is a simple but effective format where people can be empowered to change their lives at their own pace.

The clinic where I work (Back in Line in Henley-on-Thames) has an extensive cleaning regime in place so that every patient who enters the building can feel safe in that environment. For more information go to the clinic website www.backinline.uk.

Services

Acupuncture has long been recognised as an effective treatment for chronic pain.

For millions of people who live with pain, acupuncture is no longer an exotic curiosity. It's now widely accepted among the medical community. And it's pretty popular with patients as well.

Acupuncture and nutritional principles can greatly enhance fertility in a way that our conventional medical framework, simply can’t. I've seen that many times in my clinic over the last 13 years.

I have seen the positive effects of Chinese medicine on anxiety and depression first hand. Without a doubt, Acupuncture and Acupressure (no needles) play a vital role in helping people to remain mentally well.

IBS can include symptoms such as stomach pain, cramps, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation.

I've found that Acupuncture - coupled with good dietary advise - can make a massive difference in peoples lives.

I've seen Acupuncture successfully to treat acne, dermatitis, psoriasis and leg ulcers. It can be used to treat both acute skin eruption as well as longer term sin conditions.
