When several taxi companies and uber let us down with cancellations and other nonsense getting my 10 year old husky back from surgery, Animals at home were here for us, with no notice. Absolutely stellar.

I lost my parrot for almost two weeks, and Louise was absolutely amazing, I met her at Bunkers Park playing the sound of my parrot I shared on Facebook, she was helping me to find him the whole time he was gone. 5* service. Will definitely be using again!! Emma recently looked after our brood of reptiles. We have 17 reptiles and 60 tropical fish across 4 tanks. I can only imagine it was quite a shock to be asked to care for so many animals however, Emma put is at ease immediately with her professionalism, attention to detail and genuine interest in our little zoo. We have 5 snakes (big and small), 5 geckos, 2 bearded dragons, collared lizard, panther chameleon, moroccan Uromastyx, false map turtle, blue tongued skink and of course, the fish. Nothing fazed Emma. She fed, spot cleaned and watered all of our animals and we came home from a holiday to a lovely welcome message from her and animals who were both happy and healthy. The daily updates to let us know everything was going well were so reassuring given the large amount of things that can go wrong. (We have 25 thermostats running at a time for example! That’s before you get to the bulbs and misting systems). Regardless of all that, you smashed it and we can’t thank you enough for how you’ve cared for them and the confidence you’ve instilled in us to use your services again and again. The little welcome note on our return home was a very sweet touch! A nice smile on arrival home after flights with a number of delays. Animals at home have been fantastic with my cat so far! I booked them for the 30 minute cat sitting visits for our holiday. They came over for a discussion on exactly what she needs & to learn her routine. They have a great balance of professional, but friendly & casual. They give updates, pictures & videos of the interaction to reassure you on how they're doing whilst you're away. It's all at a very good price for such a great service. My cat is very nervous around new people as she hasn't had much exposure to new people because of lockdown. After a couple of visits, she's been getting more fussy & comfortable with him. Lynette, from the kings Lynn and West Norfolk branch of Animals At Home, collected my new puppy for me last Friday. I was extremely happy with her service. I chose Lynette from a variety of different puppy carriers because of her detailed email response and her reassuring words when I phoned her up. She kept in touch for the whole journey, from Barnsley, and as Amber, my puppy, was so small she put her in a cat carrier on the front seat with her. This meant she could immediately see if Amber became upset or needed changing-which did happen. She also stopped for cuddles with the puppy and to feed her. A massive thank you to Andy Kinnard of Animals At Home (National Forest) Ltd. I was really stuck getting my dog to a veterinary appointment. I contacted Andy and at really short notice was able to arrange for him to pick up my dog and take him to our local vets. He was incredibly professional and my dog was so relaxed. Andrew at animals at home ,Burton on trent, provided us with a fantastic service. He visited our cat daily giving him lots of fuss, tidied up his mess when he decided to shred some of our carpet and knock off a glass pot and even put out our bin. I cannot recommend Donna & Jeff enough! They are our first port of call when we book a holiday or if we just need someone to check in on our Harbour, they always squeeze us in! Our newfoundland absolutely adores spending time with them, and our minds are always at ease thanks to the special care and attention they give him. From forgetting to give them keys, forgetting leads, whatsapp pictures and updates, they figure it out and they do it all! We have been using Donna and Geoff for Daphne our golden Lab for over a year now. They provide a fantastic service and would highly recommend them.
