The practice is part of Independent Vetcare Ltd, based in Bristol. This company buys up local practices all over the uk and puts there own procedures in place, you are no longer dealing with a small local practice and money seem to be the key motivator.
Took my cat for an X-ray on its leg, cat had to be sedated. I was quoted £332, which I though was expensive, but I was there, the cat was in pain, so is said ok.
When I returned to collect the cat I was presented with a bill for £497. Five day later ( they said the X-Ray showed no problems ) the the cat still can’t weight bare on its front leg.
I get the feeling it’s all about how much money they can extract from you.

I've just registered my first ever puppy and the staff were great. Knowledgable and filled me with confidence and useful information. My puppy was happy and comfortable there, even after the vaccination. A few months ago I took a friend's dog there in an emergency and I couldn't have asked for a quicker or more effective response. He had a wee op and was back with me, right as rain, a few hours later. The follow up care was excellent. I'm looking forward to building a good relationship between my puppy and the staff there. My dog absolutely hates anything vet related. Fortunately the vets were excellent, putting his needs first.Prices are reasonable, payment plan for his worm/Flea is helpful and again reasonable priced. He's now a happy dog which is what it's all about.8/10Peace More...

We have our 2 dogs registered here and the service we have received has been first class. Over the past week our little cocker spaniel Tess has been very poorly and unfortunatelt had to be put to sleep tonight, we are heartbroken, but the staff have been so kind and they do an amazing job, a huge thank you to Laura for all her help with Tess, you have been fantastic at this heartbreaking time for us, Thank you once again x

I first came to this vets 5 years ago for a second opinion for my 11 year old black lab, in spite of hearing the devastating news our dog has so sick, he had to be put to sleep, the staff were amazing and I never forgot how supportive they were, even though we weren't regulars with them. Fast forward 2 years and we were able to find room in our hearts for another dog, and I didn't need to think twice about who his vet would be, blue, loves the vets ! Yep he loves it, he bounds in the door like a tornado, and stands up at the reception, looking for a treat.When we had a very serious issue with his eyes, they were amazing and went way beyond what was expected, and again after blues face had been ripped open by another dog and had to have emergency surgery.Honestly, this is the best vets by far, from the staff, to the treatment and they are one of the more reasonable priced vets too.I would never take my dog to any other vets. Got to say how brilliant care for my French bull dog Ruby and thanks to the vet Laura and the care was a 100 per cent would recommend them it’s all about the care of the animal and the staff are lovely my partner felt at ease she had a cry but Laura the vet give her a hug it shows how much they care thanks Julie and Brian x
