When I returned, on Sunday, from my weekend trip to see my baby grandson, I was totally delighted to see that my challenging, nervous dog, Bullseye, had obviously had a fantastic time with Auntie Jim . His approach to Bullseye was just perfect.Jim was great at making him feel safe and secure by keeping to his routines and taking him to his secure play field where he gets stress relieving off-lead time. Jim sent me photos of their exploits over the weekend and presented me with a beautifully produced report, with pictures, about Bullseye's weekend with him. My home was clean and tidy too, despite cleaning not being a function of the Animal Aunt. Jim goes above and beyond.I cannot recommend Jim highly enough. We first encountered Animal Aunts a few years back when our previous homesitter had to cancel at the last minute. We found Animal Aunts online and called them a few hours before we were due to leave for the airport, and they arranged cover for us the same day and saved our holiday! We've been with them ever since and we've always been hugely impressed with their wonderful Aunts. This year they did outdid themselves again - one of our dogs was recovering from spinal surgery and couldn't walk without human help when we were due to go away, so there was a lot for the Aunts to take on board, but they took it all in their stride and did a wonderful job looking after her. The Animal Aunts team have been so lovely to work with. My fiancé and my work is dynamic and often involves last minute notice and changes and the Animal Aunts team have delivered on each occasion. They have certainly taken care in hand selecting all of their aunts as they are all so lovely too. Our oldest dog takes a while to warm up to people and sometimes doesn't, but it has been so nice to see that both our dogs are always so happy to see the sitters. The Animal Aunts team and sitters have always delivered exceptional service and have gone out of their way to give us the peace of mind that our dogs will be well looked after. Our home is always in a better condition than before we left and our dogs are always so happy and content when we get home. The team always leave such kind gestures when we arrive back home and have been willing and happy to get to our home and leave our home at unconventional hours. We have a big property with livestock, horses and dogs .. all a v.big responsibility & tie .. too much to expect inexperienced family or even experienced friends to manage . . we had not really gone away much in 6 years .. I was recommended by several people to try Animal Aunts .. have used them twice now .. and our 'Aunt' was fabulous ! I felt happy leaving her in charge .. rather than worry sick like I have done in the past with friends sitting 'incase' things go wrong .. knowing what stock & horses can be like (!) .. but our Aunt, I think, could have coped with anything competently ... have just gone back to book an Aunt for our 3rd short trip away :o) .. and who knows .. we may now look at taking our first 'proper 2 week holiday' in years ! :o) More...

Aunty Michelle has taken fantastic care of my 15 year old African Grey Parrot. Was a bit worried about leaving him but from the start I felt comfortable with her, so I felt more reassured about leaving Alfie in her care for 5 days.
I’m back home tonight and he looks great! He’s happy and chatty but most importantly, he’s not stressed!!
