Angelic Flowers

(On behalf of my Mum):Dearest Angela. THANK YOU so much for the flowers! You are so amazingly talented - everyone who came to Dad's funeral said they have never seen flowers like yours. Everyone was in awe of your creativity - the pocket watch was especially inspired and exquisite!When the funeral car arrived with Dad's coffin, all I could stare at was the enormous heart of flowers. It made me cry because it was more beautiful than I imagined. What you crafted Angela, for both the girls and I, encapsulates our love for him, totally, without words. My Dad was born on Valentine's Day, and had the biggest heart and I loved him more than the stars in the sky. Your flowers; in his favourite colours, and of the kind he enjoyed growing himself in his garden, over-spilling the width of his coffin and standing so proud and glorious, mirrored the character of the man inside that coffin. And, perhaps the most special thing of all is that I know you have a beautiful heart yourself and I can see it in your flowers. Angela made such a beautiful arrangement and spoke clearly over the phone about what flowers she could use and suggested alternates if she didn’t have the flowers I asked about.
