This was our 3rd visit to the restaurant since it opened. The first in the summer which was very disappointing as the service was slower than snail pace, but as the food had been good we decided to try again and this time the service had greatly improved.
Tonight we thought we would go back with friends. Big mistake!
Restaurant was relatively busy for March evening on the Quay.
We sat placed our orders. Bread, dips and drinks arrived. Starter arrived all this within 15 minutes perfect or so we thought!
5 large tables had all been booked or seated within close proximity to each other which logically meant putting these tables together with tables of 2,3or 4 into the equation the kitchen would not cope.
And after being told your food is being plated to discover it was for another table and that there was at least 5 tables ahead of us enough was enough.
The lady in charged was frazzled and embarrassed. I don’t blame her. She was fighting a losing battle.
The ladies toilets had 3 blocked cubicles that were backing up but no out of order signs so people had continued to use them! This and the delays in food was becoming too much.
We decided it was time to leave. She was very apologetic but the owner was obviously horrified and decided he could convince us to stay. Now if customers have had enough of long waits, have already been given false info about their meals, be gracious, apologise but don’t try and stop them leaving. Don’t stand in there way and never put you hands on one of the ladies shoulders and try and reseat her.
It was embarrassing all round. Just let the customer go.
Will we be back. Very unlikely unless they change how things are run. If there’s big delays on March they have no hope for the summer. More...

clean and friendly very helpful and the food was beautifully cooked thank you,the only thing I would say is you need a sign for the floor near the entrance because my daughter fell where it slopes coming back from the toilet and got hurt as the floor slopes can't be seen this is a hazard.

Anemos is a lovely restaurant, we visited for the first time with friends and recieved a very warm welcome.

Staff were friendly, menu good for all appetites and portions generous!

We felt very relaxed and even enjoyed having a go at some greek dancing, we will visit again More...

All I can say is wow absolutely gorgeous food definitely recommended it and very reasonably priced too.
The only niggle if there is one was the time from ordering the drinks to getting them but I will leave that to lacking of staff not the restaurants fault just can't get the staff but ones they have are fantastic.
Also definitely have a trip in the cake/ice cream shop they have next door AGAIN to die for. You will definitely put on a bit of poundage on the waste line but definitely worth it lush.
All in all a fantastic experience and a credit to the poole restaurant scene and you would be daft to not try it. More...

We just had an amazing meal here . Staff was so friendly , knowledgeable and the food was just like being on Holiday.
The Baklava I had was a Giant size ,but so light and so tasty. We will be back

First and last time for sure ☹️☹️

1. The napkin was dirty, and the waitress even stated that it was disgusting. It was taken away. When the food arrived we asked for a knife and fork, he took one from an adjacent table, but I had to go and get a napkin for my wife.

2. The starter was £8 and just 5 prawns in a bland sauce, nothing with them, just prawns.

3. The main course arrived, the waiter was rude, he didn’t ask who’s food was which, he just dumped them on the table, and we swapped them. He didn’t ask if we wanted anything else, and just walked off.

4. The salmon at £18 apparently came with roasted veg. I expected a small bowl of veg for that price. It was literally one thin slice of courgette, one thin slice of mushroom, and two baby tomatoes. There was a pile of mash with a piece of salmon. The food was average and small portions… far from worth £18.

5. The waitress was very polite and the only positive point there.

6. We made a complaint to the manager, who’s excuse was that they could not get the staff… not our problem!… he also stated that he keeps telling the waiter ??…

There are many other restaurants in the area with much better service, much better value, and more enjoyable. More...

We decided to leave without eating due to difficulties ordering drinks. I asked for a Black Russian (Vodka, Kalhua and Coke) all of which was on the menu but this was refused by the manager because it wasn't on the menu (? !). I felt sorry for the bar man who was obviously embarrassed by this (initially the waitress had to ask the bar man who then had to ask the Manger to ok this request before it was refused). No-one could explain why I couldn't have the drink, apart from saying they don't serve anything not on the menu. If I ordered a Kalhua and Coke and a Vodka and Coke separately and it came out in 2 different glasses I could have it but they refused to put the spirits together in one glass. This would have meant being charged for 2 mixers instead of 1, although not a great expense if having just one drink, if having more than 1 drink it would add up. After reading some of the reviews on here I was a little nervous of going to Anemos with friends.
However I am pleased to say our experience was excellent.
Staff were attentive and patient while we took our time deciding on our choices. They offered advice and explained the ingredients of dishes too.
It is true that they are struggling staff wise but this is across the industry and those on duty did their absolute best to give us a great dining experience, I am pleased to say they succeeded.
