I started my 6 week challenge on the 20th of February with a view to getting fit and losing some weight. So far it’s going great and I certainly feel better. The coaches are really helpful and keep it lighthearted which makes it so easy to feel part of. The other members are a great team as well and everyone just seems to click and enjoy the sessions. I’d definitely recommend to anyone thinking of getting fit to give it a try, you’ll love it. More...

I have successfully completed the Banks fit 'ignition 6 week challenge'! 5.3kg down!! My 'Dad bod' is not as bad as it once was! With the help of Andy, Katie, the team and a lot of encouragement from everyone at the Kilmarnock classes, I have dropped from 91.5kg to 86.2 in just six weeks! (5.3kg lost!). Andys training videos make eating better much easier than I initially thought it would be. I have been in a calorie deficit for 6 weeks, the advice on what to eat throughout the challenge has helped me to keep the food cravings away. I learned a lot from Andy's videos and he explains everything in a really simple way that even I can understand! Note: I do still have the odd takeaway and beer.... but I don't feel so bad about it as I'm eating better most of the time! BACKGROUND: I've been overweight and pretty unfit for many years. Over the years I have enjoyed too many nights out, takeaways and beers to mention! I signed up to try and lose weight, generally feel better and to have more energy to keep up with my three young kids! I am definitely feeling the benefits of eating better and exercising in what is a fun way at the classes / sessions! In the past I felt really out of place in a gym and really never had a clue what I was supposed to do to optimise a gym visit.... But Katie, Kirsty and everyone else who regularly attend the group training sessions are very welcoming. The team always provide the encouragement required and make the classes / sessions fun! Thanks to everyone! I'm gonna keep it up and continue my fitness journey at Banks fit! I would highly recommend Banks fit 6 week ignition challenge to anyone! I joined up 7 weeks ago. it's been amazing, I am using muscles I had forgotten I had. Every session is a bit different so you never get bored and are always exercising different parts of the body. it has been so effective in helping with my menopause aches. I started the 6 week challenge in January to improve my fitness and lose weight and have noticed good results. Andy and the coaches are great at keeping you motivated and encourage you to push yourself within your own limitations. They also offer variations in exercises where required for health or fitness levels. All members are welcoming and supportive. I have enjoyed it so much I have just signed up for another 6 months. I have been a serial yo-yo dieter most of my life, but as the years go by I am finding it harder to shift weight. Working with Andy over the past 7 weeks has been a game changer. I have lost just over a stone, and I now need a belt for my jean!. The group fitness sessions are so much fun (sometimes doesn’t feel it at the time!) but I’m loving the results. From really supportive one to one discussions personalising the plan to what I needed and embedding new habits, to the amazing network and group chats keeping each other motivated, I’ve never felt more empowered in achieving my fitness goals. I would like to thank all at Banks fit for helping me on my weight loss journey and helping me on my physical fitness goals. I signed up for 6wks training at Prestwick and never thought I would make it to end of week one but here I am 6wks completed and loved every minute of it. Yes it was tough sometimes but I felt great afterwards and glad I did it, even in the rain 🤣 I am not only seeing and feeling the difference but it has also given me a positive outlook towards my weight loss and fitness goals. The instructors are fantastic and knowledgeable and are happy to help with any questions you may have and guide you with nutrition. I looked forward to attending the 3 sessions a week, this resulting in me joining the banks fit community and becoming a member 😊 I would definitely recommend giving Banks fit a try as you will be surprised at the results and the groups are all friendly with a few giggles along the way 😊 More...

I've never been a morning person but since week 2 have been attending 6.15am sessions which set me up for the day ahead. When I started the six week challenge, I was so unfit and carrying a lot of extra weight. But with the support of not just the trainers, but the people that also go to the classes I’ve managed to improve my fitness and loose weight. All while have fun and making new friends. When i first took up the Banks fit 6 wk challenge i was very apprehensive as i hadnt excercised for years and had no real idea of calorie count, nutriton and certainly hadn't heard of my fitness pal. Once i got through the door on my first session , Andy introduced himself and asked me to do what excersise i could throughout the session and we'd take it from there. I was asked about my goals and what i hoped to achieve. I was shown how to track daily on my fitnesspal and if i was confused or struggling i just had to a ask. With lots of support from Andy and others in the group i found i completed the 6 wk challenge having lost a few pounds and 6% body fat. I decided that focusing on myself for 3 sessions a wk (thats 4 hrs a wk inc travel time) was possible..and the house wasnt going to fall apart without me! I continued with Andy since completing the challenge in March then had to take a break of 4 wks due to other commitments. I found i really missed the sessions and getting back feels like coming home. Andy has a Q and A each week and has regular posts motivation posts on his web-site, and if you feel you're struggling he will answer them there or in person. There is always a friendly face at the classes if you just want to share your highs and lows on ur fitness journey. I hope to continue long-term. This has definitely been the right path for me. I feel a much better person because of the opportunities this class has given me as not only are the classes varied ..some sessions are outside too! It's been much better than going to a local gym, where everyone is exercising individually. In Andy's class there is so much peer support when you feel you just can't quite manage it.... I’ve worked with Andy now for about 3 months and have seen incredible changes. I’m fitter, leaner and feel much healthier. Andy has a friendly, laid back but encouraging approach to personal training that keeps you driven to do well and positive about your progress. Compared to other boot camp style training I’ve done in the past, Banks fit Camp is far more engaging and tailored to each persons specific needs. The 6 week challenge is a great utility to either give you a quick hit if you’ve got a few pounds to lose, help you start your weight loss journey or reignite a passion for fitness. Completed the 6 week bootcamp challenge and lost just over 23lbs in total! Wasn’t easy getting to grips with the exercise and food but once I did, it was really helpful. Love the classes and the fact it forces me to put in the effort, and every class has been different! Now staying on at the bootcamp classes longer term! I wouldn’t have managed to do it without the help of Andy who was first class, and understanding when I was having a few different issues! I've just completed my 6 week fitcamp challenge with Andy and the results are brilliant. I've lost over 18lbs, nearly 6% bodyfat and roughly 13 inches all over. Definately down at least 1 dress size. The 3 sessions a week are varied and for the most pretty brutal and Andy will push you past your comfort zone but the feeling after classes is great knowing you smashed it. Your energy levels will soar as will your mood. The group are a great bunch and everyone is supportive of each other with many of us becoming friends. The online help, home workouts and nutrition are great too and Andy is always available when needed. Andy also organises activities outwith classes with a bunch of us conquering Ben Lomond last weekend after our morning class?. I just want to thank Andy and every one for the great support I received during my 6 week challenge. I have to be honest it was the quickest 6 weeks of my life. Filled with lots hard work and some fun times. I personally feel proud of myself for achieving the record for the most weight loss. Without Andy pushing me I would not have succeeded.. I have now completed my challenge losing 25lbs and 9% body fat! I would highly recommend Andy's boot camp. The camp has given me back my confidence and my weight loss has boosted my self esteem. So just finished my 6 weeks bootcamp with Andy and it has been a emotional roller coaster was in a state mentally and physically b4 I joined and it has been a real eye opener I've been to many gyms but nothing has given me more of a push than that of what Andy gives you he is a legend and 6 weeks on 15llbs down over 4 percent body fat and a climb up Ben lomond I honestly wouldn't be where I am now if it wasnt for Andy and his belief in me

Just finished the 6 week challenge, lost 18 pounds, 5% body fat and at least 12 inches. Andy was a great help throughout it with his knowledge and ensuring that each session was different and engaging. His website gave great help and he gave information as to help me push me to help achieve the goals.I would suggest for anyone to go ahead and do this as I was one that did procrastinate about being healthier and getting fit, but given a timeline and the help been provided, you realise that you become so engaged and enthusiastic about it. I’ve had an absolute blast the past 6 weeks .. a lot of laughs and friendships made! it’s been great to see all the results today and how hard everyone has worked. . I am delighted with my results , loosing 10.5lbs, 6% body fat and 12.5 inches!! ? ? . Also seeing everyone else achieve their goals is brilliant! The Amazing Andy Banks has been a fantastic trainer and has pushed me to smash my target. He is there 24/7 for anything!
