Amy has been an invaluable source of inspiration and help in reviewing the detail of and providing planting plans for an existing garden design. She has suggested ideas for tricky areas (shaded borders, under tree canopy planting, screening from neighbours) and has provided practical solutions for a couple of issues of the design which didn't work well in practice. Amy has done designs for three areas of our garden. The brief was low maintenance, harmoniuos colours (with what was already in the garden) and scented plants where possible. She met the brief perfectly (including the agreed budget), overseeing the construction of an exquisite patio with a small summer house and a rippling fountain, surrounded by scented plants which start in early Spring and are still going strong in late Autumn. Subsequently Amy has helped to maintain her designs making the whole thing virtually hassle free for us. We just get to enjoy the fruits of her skill and professionalism. More...
