I’ve just returned from an escorted holiday to India arranged by AM Travel. I’d not used them previously but was recommended to them by a friend - what a good decision I made. Anita arranged everything for me ( including my visa ), and set up an app for me that covered every aspect of the holiday. Any query got answered promptly ( including a query I raised with her whilst in India regarding tipping etiquette ). Transport to and from the airport was provided ( including a representative within the airport who escorted me to the check in desk, and then took me to security ).She arranged a fantastic guide who had an amazing knowledge of all the places we visited, and a driver who made every journey relaxing. We have just returned from a fabulous tour of Mumbai and the golden triangle. Anita did an amazing job of organising it and knowing what would work best for us. She very helpfully offered many different options to help us manage our budget effectively. In India we were extremely well looked after with an excellent driver and all the local guides we had, without exception, were extremely knowledgable and engaging individuals. Anita and AMTravelWorld are the best! A memorable tour for both golfers and non-golfers. The guys experienced the best golf Scotland had to offer and we experienced beautiful castles and obscure but unforgettable little stops along the way. From Edinburgh to Balmoral to the Royal Distillary, it was a trip that eveyone enjoyed. Anita was flexible and provided a lot of useful information and laughter along the way. Our "Scotland Golf or Not Tour" was amazing! We enjoyed three lovely hotels with great views, and as non-golfers, we felt that Anita did a great job making sure the we saw lots of interesting sites and scenery, while the golfers enjoyed plenty of golf. She planned a great itinerary but was also flexible. We had enough free time to enjoy some wandering on our own, and she made great suggestions of things to do in every area. My trip to Scotland was my first time out of the U.S. and I could not have had a better experience with AM Travel. We went as two groups, Golfers/Non-Golfers, and Anita organized a trip that suited all members of both parties. As part of the golf group, Anita got us on 3 courses at St. Andrews, including The Old Course, 2 courses in the highlands including the relatively unknown Spey Valley and Nairn (a VERY close 2nd to the Old Course) and our final round at Royal Troon. Even with all of the golfing, we enjoyed stops at Stirling Castle, Balmoral (the royal retreat in Northern Scotland), the Royal Lochnager distillery, and Oban (a beautiful Port Town). This trip has given me so many memories that will last a lifetime and none of it would be possible without the efforts and organization of AM Travel.If you are planning a trip throughout the UK, I would HIGHLY recommend booking through AM Travel. Recently returned from a tour of Sri Lanka organised and led by Anita of AM travel. I am ranking this holiday tops, as from start to finish there was not a hitch - we had a superb bus driver and each morning along with his helper we were greeted with a smile, and felt safe in their hands. Our hotels were first rate and enjoyed some wonderful food. Great variety in the trip, yes you see the sights you expect but you also get to experience things you don't expect and interact with the local people. Just back from a truly amazing trip to India with Anita. We visited New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur where we were shown the splendours of these regions but were also treated to the "real"India, wandering round the markets, the villages and farms, the schools and the inspiring Salaam Baalak trust in Delhi which rescues street children. AM Travel World provided a well organized excursion through Scotland, England, and Wales. Beginning with our flight from JFK, all of the trip's promises (and more) were realized. There was never a lull in activities! From golf, walking tours, sightseeing, resort life, living history, cultural assimilation, and dining - the trip had it all. Anita Mandl added a richness to our experience with her knowledge of history, storytelling ability, and excellent golf skills. She was the perfect host and strove to meet all of our needs in order to have an enriched experience. Our coach driver, Wayne, proved to be another gift. His personality and genuine desire for us to love his country complemented Anita's package. I will most certainly travel again with Anita Mandl. Anita put together a wonderful golf trip to UK. Many beautiful golf courses, scenery, and side trips. She is very personable with humor with her main focus to fulfill every individuals needs or wishes. Her knowledge, intuition, and confidence shined through and through. Exceptional all the way around. Great accommodations and course selections, interesting side trips, beautiful countryside, great local interaction. Anita is very thorough and knowledgeable, with great communication, organizational and people skills and, best of all, quite entertaining and funny. She was able to quickly create a camaraderie within the group that enhanced the overall adventure for all of us. My golf group had an outstanding time traveling with Anita at AMTravelWorld. All her arrangements for us from a variety of golf courses (St. Andrews to Mooretown) and lodging to food and points of interest were well thought out and well organized. Wonderful trip for golfers and non golfers! Courses selected were beautiful and challenging. Non golfers were accommodated with sightseeing and shopping venues. My husband and I have been on two tours with Anita: China and South America. Both tours have been wonderful experiences. We have seen and done so many interesting things and enjoyed every minute of the holiday. But that's not all. It is the caring way in which Anita leads the tours which makes the difference. Watching out for everyone, involving everyone, telling her infamous jokes, etc etc. On top of that, Anita has so much experience in this area of travel that you have absolutely every confidence in what is arranged and in what you are doing and that, if the worst came to the worst and something went wrong, then that Anita could be trusted to sort something out properly rather than walk away from the issue. Anita Mandl always goes the extra mile on all of her tours, and is to be commended for this.The South America tour was very well planned, but was not without its issues, which was probably as a result of the fact that this was the company's inaugural tour on the continent.One or two of the hotels left a lot to be desired, which is not something we either expected or appreciated having paid the amount of money we did for the tour.
