Can't recommend Amelia enough!! Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I am no longer an artist but working with Amelia really helped me to have confidence in my own abilities. I used to hate singing in front of people but Amelia taught me how to have control over my voice so I'd feel more comfortable performing - and I did! Amelia has been teaching my son for a couple of years now - very professional and lovely lady who really gets the best out of him. She's been great at helping with so much, but especially song selection to suit his voice as it changes through adolescence, performance skills - enhanced with live performance opportunities at showcases and helping with pronunciation/clarity. Highly recommended - Amelia seems to have a very varied client list - all ages and abilities (beginners to actual recording/performing artists) and having sat through many lessons to hear the progress, I can see that she really gets to know each client and adapts the lessons as and when needed to make sure the client is getting what they want out of it. For example, sometimes we have lessons to work on an audition piece and sometimes it's just a fun lesson with no specific purpose other than to enjoy singing. More...

I was given the chance to record a song at AM Studios as a gift and had a wonderful time recording with Amelia. Before the recording took place, I had a vocal warm up which was very thorough without being strenuous. I've always enjoyed singing but as nothing more than a hobby but Amelia made me feel very confident about my range and vocal ability. Can't recommend her highly enough! More...

AM studios are conveniently placed and easy to get to, on street parking is available.I have been coming to Amelia for the last 18 months for singing lessons and definitely feel the benefit from them, others have commented on the improvement of my singing over that time. The lessons are always fun, well structured and adapted to how my voice is on the day. Any weak spots are worked upon using a range of different vocal exercises, of which Amelia always selects well from her vast knowledge and experience. The studio is well equiped and allows students to get used to Mic and vocal techniques in preparation for performances that are arranged on a frequent basis. Very good and very professional. I have vocal and now also piano lessons. Amelia has some very good students and artists and me who is on the lower rungs of the ladder of ability. However I am encouraged and I am making progress at a steady rate. Whatever your ability I wholeheartedly recommend Amelia at AM studious, educational and enjoyable.
