Altnerative Campus Tutoring

Before I disclose further information on all the wonderful courses and sessions Alternative Campus Tutoring has to offer, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you into the mind of the creators and solicit more information on why Alternative Campus Tutoring is different from your ordinary tutoring company.

The creators of the company are both teachers with extensive experience working in Pupil Referral Units or also known as Alternative Provisions. For those of you who do not what that is, they are Institutions which help educate and rehabilitate students who have left the sea of mainstream education to enter the pond of a provision. Many of the students we have encountered along the way have been branded "unteachable" or "not academic" but after tailoring lessons to their needs, we found that they were just not able to access the curriculum the way it was being taught to them. Myself and my partner decided to get creative in the classroom and incorporate different teaching styles which enabled students with an array of learning styles to cultivate a love for learning that they had not previously experienced. Year after year, we encountered the same statements being regurgitated from the mouths of multiple pupils and discovered this wasn't an isolated issue, but a universal one. Once we was enlightened to this, we felt compelled to do something about this ongoing issue, Thus Alternative Campus Tutoring, also known as ( ACT) was born.

Studies show that one of the main contributors to a students academic success is parental involvement. As the education system has failed to reform to keep up with the ever evolving technological world, we urge parents to take a conscious action to become an active participant in their child's success. By choosing our online tutoring company, students will have the opportunity to not only have access to learning prepared and delivered by world class creative teachers, but also record their own lectures and create video libraries of their learning that they can later access for revision.

We are currently offering online sessions but are hoping to venture out to local youth clubs and hold community sessions very soon!
