I called several local electricians to provide quotes for me for a full rewire. I found Allerton Electrics to be by far the most reasonably priced. Andy came to complete a full survey before starting the work where I was able to discuss any queries with him in detail. He provided a clear breakdown of the cost of the rewire and there were no extra charges to add on unlike some other companies I contacted. Andy and his team started and completed the job on time and kept me up to date with progress along the way. Their standard of work was high-quality and professional, disruption and damage to walls was very minimal and was filled in and patched up by the team. They are trust-worthy and worked away at my house while I was at work, making what I thought would be a stressful time very stress-free, bringing my house up to date with the electrics and providing full inspection report for my records. Polite, courteous and hard-working. My house needed rewiring and the job proved to be a little more difficult than expected (an old, mid-terrace) but they stuck with it and completed to the amount quoted. I had a problem with one of the smoke alarms fitted and it was replaced without any argument. The overall price paid was competitive and I am glad that I hired this company. As for any work done on your house, ensure that you fully check the work when finished as I had to call them back for a couple of minor things.
