This is one of the best chiropractic offices I have ever had the great fortune to be under the care of in my entire time as a human with back issues. I have been happily receiving treatments here for over four years now, even during a period when I was living abroad in the EU, I would be sure to book an adjustment whenever I knew I'd be back in England. Thank goodness I found Taunton Chiropractors to help with the pain and discomfort caused by mild osteoarthritis of the hip. Through a combination of acupuncture and massage, plus guidance on stretches and exercises to support the muscles around the hip, the pain is much less and the strength and range of movement of the hip and leg are greatly improved. Thank you Alex for doing such a great job on the hip.The outcome for the hip could have been quite different had I not gone to Alex at Taunton Chiropractors, since the advice given by the local surgery was to take Ibuprofen and go back when the pain got worse! I have seen Alex over the years for very severe neck pain and headaches. Within 20 minutes of completing my treatment (acupuncture, massage and manipulation) I would feel considerably better and over the next 24 hours improvements would continue. Fantastic team at this clinic. I was ridiculously nervous/sceptical the first time I walked in, but didn't need to be, best decision ever made. After aggravating an old shoulder injury a friend recommended I saw Alex Bowling. After a few weeks treatment and doing simple exercises he suggested the injury started to feel a lot better. Tore my knee a few years back and thought I'd never get my leg back to the way it was (I couldn't get up or down stairs, or get in and put the shower, and walking long distance was so painful! ), and thought the pain would be there for the rest of my life, however since I've been seeing Alex I have come on so well, I can finally get to do most of the things I could never do. Absolutely love the service here, both me and my husband have been visiting for some time and everytime we feel welcomed and comfortable within seconds of entering the clinic. The information we get on how to manage our clicks, cracks and pains is thorough. Alex gave me some stretches to do on Monday, I couldn't hold them for 20 seconds then, but after seeing him and having massage and acupuncture in my knees and calves (ouch) I'm now doing these for 1 minute, 3 times a day with a little discomfort... brilliant!! I went to see Suresh (through the recommendation of a friend,) about my back. From calling to book the appointment to arriving at the centre I was treated with absolute professionalism and kindness. After years of suffered with knee pain and multiple visits/treatments with the NHS I was talked in to visiting a Chiropractor to try and get me sorted out.
A couple of work colleagues suggested that I try hear as they had found the service brilliant.

Richard was very polite, professional and put me at ease. He recommend a course of acupuncture and stretching. Disputes being very phobic about needles he reassured me at every stage and help keep me calm with various breathing techniques.

After the first few treatments the difference has been incredible, my sporting performance has improved and my general day to day life is a lot less painful.

Started having treatment for my jaw (TMJ) with Richard recently. After having had extensive dental work as a kid and lock jaw as a young adult, my jaw visually looked wonky, couldn't open wide, and ached when eating chewy food. I've been going to this chiropractor for a while now and have to say the level of care and consideration provided by Alex and all the team here are second to none. I have tried several chiropractors before and never had any real results. But here it has been a totally different experience. I can and do recommend them to anyone I can with back or neck pain.

Just to add on if you are worried about going please don't be. Before going to my first chiropractor I had heard all the stories of people jumping on you and cracking every bone in the body and it's not like that. Yes there are techniques they use which will cause a cracking sound but it's not painful. You can feel relief and better movement within a few sessions.

The team here also will not pressure you into doing anything your uncomfortable with. I have certainly felt they have tailored the care to me rather than just going through a set care plan.

All I can say is if your in pain all the time like I was then what have you got to lose? More...

An initial assessment is carried out and discussed . It’s is such relief to be able to put complete trust in Practioners, something I have here .

Being able to ge out of bed in the morning without pain . Due to my job I need regular realigning and I am back to normal .

After suffering for the last 3 years with progressively worsening stiffness in the back and sciatic-esque symptoms I decided I needed to seek expert help. Especially if I was to overcome these issues at a relatively young age.

After popping by for a free consultation, where Alex assessed me, I began a limited course of weekly treatments.

I can safely now, that after just a few visits my back is much improved. The “stiffness” has virtually disappeared inside just the first two sessions and my overall flexibility and movement has gotten better with each subsequent treatment.
